Pros:

Pleasant location, being such a sprawling city difficult to be well located for everything. Funky style. Nice pool and a great shower.

Cons:

Fairly loud at times due to events. For the price I would expect daily replenishment of towels and the bed being made. No facilities for making hot drinks in the room

Perfect stay!
Pros:

Great hotel, great value for money, great staff and the nicest rooms within this price range in LA. Really loved the live events in the hotel bar and the in-house pizza place! You can borrow guitars and the playlist is always great!

Good location, nice theme of a hotel, just needs to improve maintenance.

Cons:

It is noisy, not because its a part hotel, because its not designed well. I can hear the room above every time they walk. The pipes etc. This is why they have made it into a music hotel to cover up the bad build quality. Only 1 of the reading lights out of four worked and the toilet ran all the time. It was in a good location and its kind of funky. Better if it was a bit cheaper. Oh and I found a wallet behind the bed, so not cleaned properly

Ziggy is a fun experiance
Pros:

If you like music Ziggy and is a cool interlude with nightly events around the lobby area and Pizza Girls breakfast (try the burrito) and Pizzas.

Nice hotel if you want to be at the center of LA

Hotel Ziggy Rocks
Pros:

The Hotel Ziggy has a great rock n' roll vibe with music (reasonable volume) playing throughout the day in the lobby/bar area. Besides music the ambiance has art collaged images of music legends, guitars and other rock items hanging on the walls. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, clean and well kept. They have a helpful and friendly staff manning the front desk and bar. The food is good at the bar with their specialty thin crust "Pizza Girl" pies a favorite. The hotel is located on the sunset strip in West Hollywood making it ideal to get to iconic LA attractions.

I left the hotel earlier than planned due to serious hygiene problems.The hotel is old and poorly maintained. There was a strong urine smell inside the wardrobe, and later I found a cockroach in my room.Reception sent a staff member who killed the cockroach. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable and had to leave the hotel immediately.At check-out, I was told that a refund would be issued, however later the hotel refused to return my money and redirected responsibility to Booking.com.Very disappointing experience. I do not recommend this hotel.
