Friendly staff and space to park a trailer
The online menu in their restaurant was very different from what they actually did

The staff were very accommodating of our need tk stay in the room longer due to ferry cancellation. Very helpful and very understanding.

The Capital Motor Lodge is convenient. It sits less than 2 kms off SH 1 and is just far enough out of Wellington to make a convenient run into Wellington for attractions, such as Te Papa and the Weta Workshop.
Furthermore, it was one of the simplest and quickest check-ins that I have experienced. Sign a register with my name, number, and registration and take possession of the room keys.
