The location was so convenient we hardly felt the need to leave the block.
Pros:

The location was excellent and the staff was very friendly and greeted every time we walked in the door, even if we were only gone for a few minutes to stop by the konbini around the corner. There are many delicious restaurants in the area as well, and a central location for public transport.

The bar/restaurant Jia Wei downstairs has one of the yuzu flavored gin and tonics I’ve ever had.

Cons:

The beds could have been a bit more comfortable.

Very good
Pros:

Nice, spacious rooms with pleasant design, very clean. Good location next to the Karasuma line station and walking distance to many attractions. Many interesting cafes, restaurants and shops in the area.

Pleasant and functional
Pros:

This is like many Japanese hotels functional and pleasant. Staff on reception varied from lovely to ok. Downstairs breakfast was average and evening meal was fine but completely chaotic in delivery. We'd finished our main and side dishes when they brought the fried rice out! It is however, well located by the subway and the Imperial Palace. Rooms were good.

Nice stay in Kyoto
Pros:

Our room was huge and comfortable, location just by a subway station for easy movement, direct line to Kyoto station.

宿泊費に対して満点です
Pros:

お部屋の雰囲気はとても良く、立地もとても良かったです。

Cons:

宿のせいでは無いですが、朝食をつけていなかったので1階のカフェでモーニングを頼みましたが、カフェのスタッフさんの言い方が嫌な感じでした。
入店から見下したような対応だったので、寝起きで身なりもそこそこに来店したのが不快だったのかなと考えました。
ブロッコリーは噛みきれないほどの生でした。
朝食付きで宿泊すれば良かったと後悔しました。

Pros:

Perfektes Hotel mit sehr guter Ausstattung in sehr guter Lage von Kyoto (direkt an der Metro, aber vieles ist auch gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir würden wiederkommen.
