Large modern room
Pros:

A little on the edge of town but 8 minutes walk to Te Papa Tongarewa museum

Cons:

The large bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a glass wall and sliding door with a curtain, so somewhat lacking in privacy.

Pros:

What a lovely "ohtel' , the location is great and the staff so helpful, happy and friendly.
The room was so nice and a warm floor in the bathroom was a lovely touch.
Breakfast had plenty to choose from.

I had to book this hotel at short notice after my connecting flight out of Wellington was cancelled. I was stressed, tired and jetlagged on arrival, but the staff were fantastic and immediately made me feel more relaxed.

They also allowed me to check in early and it was a huge boost to find such a beautiful, comforting room waiting for me.

The staff arranged a take-out breakfast due to my early departure the next morning. They couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, and my room massively exceeded my expectations - it's one of the most delightful rooms I've stayed in.

Pros:

Das kleine Hotel liegt sehr zentral und uns wurde gleich ein Parkplatz vermittelt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Frühstück in der kleinen Lobby war sehr gut.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss ohne Fenster und Tageslicht. Die Belüftung erfolgte nur über die Klimaanlage, die uns in fast allen Unterkünften einstellungstechnische Probleme bereitete. Das offene Bad fanden wir auch nicht optimal, zumal man alles hören konnte.

Cooles Stadt-Boutique Hotel! Zimmer in den oberen Etagen wählen.
Pros:

Es ist sehr gut gelegen zwischen Stadt und Strand. Die Ausstattung ist sehr modern und es war sehr sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Unser Studio im EG hatte nur einen „Guckloch“ als Fenster, was ein Gefühl von „Keller“ erzeugte.

Beautiful boutique hotel situated in a great location
Pros:

Property was excellent! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Lucy until we left. It is a small boutique property with a retro feel but spotlessly clean and the attention to detail & decor is outstanding. Breakfast was included and was one option from the set menu which was fine but on the first day more focus was on charging for extras (which you dont need!) than on the choices you do have! Chef did a great job and it was beautifully presented and tasted great. Room was bright and airy with complementary tea & coffee making facilities but the special feature was the beautiful bath and lovely toiletries - the bath was a real treat after a long day sight seeing round Wellington! All in all I would thoroughly recommend if you are visiting the area. Lucy was such a pleasant girl who was very willing to to give super recommendations for restaurants, etc. all those personal touches were appreciated.

Fabulous boutique hotel. Made a real impression on our one night stay.
Pros:

Loved the location close to the harbour. Near Ortega fish shack which is an amazing restaurant. The bedrooms were really comfortable and loved the bath.
