The weather lol
It is in a good location.
There were issues right from arrival when £3 charge was added to the payment as “they have white sheets”!? Apparently in the T&c buried somewhere. We were then told it is their policy not to provide a kettle for tea etc as is usually the case in similar hotels but there is a machine you can pay for in reception ( as long as you use a lid as they have white sheets!).
The room itself was freezing. We were so cold overnight and the inch thick mattress on an incredibly squeaky bed and super thin duvet did little to help us get warm. No lamps next to the bed so either main light or darkness. We also were given a speech about if we lost the key we would be “sleeping with the seagulls”! Thee was lots of talk in the initial greeting about how we could spend money on their slot machines and 40 different gins. All I really wanted after check in was a cup of tea though! Apparently they have a loyalty scheme where you are entitled to an extra pillow without charge if you return. We won’t be taking them up on that!!
They were in the middle of renovations in other rooms however our room had mould on the ceiling.
Was close to the town
The rooms was tiny and bed could of been comfier
Noise from other guests, very noisy at early hours 1.45am very loud when walking past our room
Excellent location, great facilities, wonderful host ,Connor couldn't be more helpful and friendly,
Good location
Booked a room with a double bed, when it wasn’t.
Lovely b&b would deffo stay again
Everything it’s lovely and well decorated staff brilliant
Nothing to dislike
The owner was very welcome and food was amazing
Everything was perfect
Location, there was a bar and other things for kids which looked good but we were short on time for this trip. Beds and bedding were comfortable and clean.
There was lots of renovation going on, bathroom was clean but not spotless, shower tray needed replacing there was some marking.
I liked how the staff was very friendly and the hotel was very welcoming
No kettle in the room but did have it downstairs which you had to pay for , and the room was a little cold no heating in room but nice room in nice hotel
The owner was very friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and tidy - although a little small. We had good communication so knew what to expect. Check in/out very easy. Asked for extra pillows and they were brought up to us immediately.
Lovely warm welcome and a super cool ground floor with a great bar and games area. Hotel room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Great location just 5 minutes walk from the promenade. Ordered room service burgers and fries to the room and was delicious. Great value for money. Paid additional for secure parking spot at the back of the hotel. Friendly and accommodating staff.
Some might struggle with the amount of right stairs up to top floor , no problem for me, but to make others aware! Shower slightly weak stream/power but satisfactory.
Was able to accept a last-minute booking, welcomed us with a big smile and gave us first-timers in Blackpool advice on where to go for a top evening. Top service from Connor and the family... we will be back!
Stayed here last night and this hotel was lovely! Would give 11/10 if I could. Connor was absolutely lovely; gave us a tour of the hotel and everything! Even if I were staying on the opposite side of Blackpool, I would stay here again!
Thanks Connor, from Sam and Wendy 😀
