Lovely apartment on 18th floor. Easy check-in, all as expected or better in terms of size, cleanliness comfort and location. Also well equipped. Very helpful folder of informstion

Stayed for four nights and had a great time. Flat was clean and comfortable. Loads of room and essentials were left so we didn't have to buy such as washing liquid. Washing pods.
We attended the Melbourne Celtic Festival at the Seafarer's Mission and chose this as it was close by. It was quiet, clean & comfortable. We had everything we needed for a one night stay.
If I stayed again, I would ask for a room with separate shower; not one over the bath.

Overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke in the apartment and strong smell of cannabis in the toilet. Apt was dark and unwelcoming and not a cosy little waterfront apt as it looks. Its actually on the main riverside walkway so mobbed with tourists and the balconies are so close its not private at all, at least our apt was. (amazed at the 4,5 stars but if you look further in the reviews there are negative reviews from people in this apt likely)
Outdated décor and furnishings tired in some cases dirty and some damaged. No reception check-in after 2 PM with not enough attempt at warning us on a Saturday although check in doesnt open until 2 so we had nobody to deal with it onsite. Waited an hour for someone to come but then found out he was bringing an air freshner and immediately left and cancelled and had 50% refunded from Booking.com.
We did ask for the next 2 nights to be reunded with predictable results.
The pictures are misleading. They're not all of the actual room. They are some and other random pictures of that type of apt most of which look much brighter and nicer with light floors and open views. We are still waiting on the $300 deposit being reverted or refunded which is annoying as we were refunded within 24 hours everywhere else we stayed through exactly the same process.
Have stayed in way better places for much cheaper with better views, accom standard and location, lower deposit and a 24 hour reception.
It’s near the wharf, very scenic and peaceful view.
The CBD is about 10min walk. Some may say far but I’m pretty okay with it since the weather was good.
Should have 1 mat for every 2 nights. I was there for 3x nights, will be good if they had 2 toilet floor mats.

The second bedroom had a very uncomfortale bed.
The discription regarding access and where to find the lock box was dreadful particularly on a rainy dark night which we experienced. You need to be more explicit with that detail.
