Good location, comfortable bed and a great shower.
NA
Great location. Very easy access from Heathrow via Elisabeth line. Good selection of cafe's, restaurants etc nearby.
Free bottles of water in the fridge.
Booked a room for 3 people. One proper bed. One sofa bed. The sofa bed was that well-known miserable design with a horizontal bar running across the bottom of your back under a pitifully thin mattress; one assumes it was invented by an evil chiropractor to generate business for themselves,
When we checked in (5pm) the room was cold (thermostat showed 14C) and the heating system did not work. It turned out nothing could be done that day. We were given extra blankets. It was cold. This got fixed the next day so for our 2nd night it was warm.
The hotel in was quiet in general, unfortunately behind a locked door in the corner of our room was a machine continuously generating brown noise. This ran all night,
Not sure what to expect for 250 a night in London...but I expected a lot more than this.
I have been issued a full refund thank fully but I had a sleepless nights stay due to water coming through the ceiling all night onto my bed! Room 503!
Location
The room was spacious and very tastefully decorated in art deco style with big mirrors and a comfortable bed. Free tea, coffee, muffins and mineral water offered more than most similar hotels in the area.
Nicely decorated and clean bedroom and en-suite. Small but that’s noted when booking. Staff friendly when checking in and out. Good location and very close to Farringdton
Main window did not fully seal so tint bit of noise.
Fantastic location, very close to Farringdon and Chancery Lane tube stations, and easy walking distance to Covent Garden. All essential shops nearby. Staff were friendly too.
It seems that there are vast differences in room quality in this property. I booked the economy room, and it's a windowless room in the basement next to a conference room. Quite noisy as I believe the staff/storage room was also next door, and must be close to sewage as I could often hear water rushing down the pipes and there was a bit of an unpleasant drainage smell too. Mattress was a bit too hard for my personal liking and there was a hole in my duvet cover. Overall, I know hotel prices in London are steep, but being in a windowless basement room for £150 per night was a bit disappointing. Can't beat the location, though, very convenient.
Clean and simple ♥️nice location
Clean, quiet and beautiful rooms
Staff were helpful, shower was wonderful, had a good sleep in a quiet setting and location was great, a quiet part of London.
