Pros:

Unusual set-up: a housing estate combined with a mini safari park. But huge room, with beautiful carpets, and private plunge pool, amazing, mountainous food, lovely staff, and a fantastic bargain.

For the price we paid, we felt like it was not worth the money.
Pros:

The pastry served with breakfast was stale and bitter. I then ate some grapes, they were also bitter. The cappuccino was like instant coffee with a bit of frothed milk. Not a 5 star breakfast by any stretch of the imagination.

Cons:

The reason I rated the staff so low was the following: We informed the lodge that our son would be joining us for dinner, and we asked for 3 steak and vegetables for dinner. They asked us to call them the morning of the day were arriving to confirm, which we did. When we arrived for dinner, and told the waiter that we had pre-ordered our dinner, he looked a bit perplexed. Then he came back and said they only had 2 steaks. My son ordered from the menu, but this was not what we had requested.
Whilst sitting on the couch in reception, waiting for my wife to arrive, my son saw one of the chefs wiping his spatula on the inside of his trouser leg.

Pros:

Room size is very spacious and comfortable. All the staff and service was amazing. Food was excellent . They really pay attention to the small details, the good night message is such a thoughtful gesture. We will definitely be back

Stunning Lodge in Hoedspruit.
Pros:

What a gem of a find in Hoedspruit. Thank you to the staff who were friendly and attentive, Jaydine, Linique, Thabiso our barman and Thabiso who cooked our breakfast, you made our stay extra special. I have to give special thanks to the Chef's Mpho and Mphilo, your food was just outstanding. The Lodge is tranquil and tastefully decorated. Our room was lovely, the bed extra comfy, honestly this was one of the nicest lodges we have stayed in.

Pros:

We previously stayed at Safari Moon and will definitely return. We recommend it to our friends as well! The staff is lovely, the rooms and interior are beautiful, the grounds are neat, and the food is great! It’s perfect for a short getaway.

Cons:

We wanted to use the bicycles, but they were not available due to un-inflated tyres

Heavenly atmostphere
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent, and the service was perfect. The atmosphere cools down, and the fresh air, the bush view is refreshing. The staff is friendly, patient and can listen.

Cons:

We left our own sleepers behind, knowing they were provided, but there was nothing on the first night. Thanks for going all out to get some for us

Pros:

Die Lage war der Hammer, verschiedene Tiere benutzen unser Grundstück als Gehweg, so konnten wir einige Tiere beobachten. Die Villa ähnelte mehr einer Kunstausstellung als einer Lodge… überall Gemälde und Skulpturen.. sehr schön aber vor allem auch geräumig! Alle waren glücklich und die Kommunikation mit der Verantwortlichen der Villa war reibungslos. Diese hat sich auch um die Buchung eines privaten „Game Drive“ gekümmert, mit welcher wir sehr glücklich waren. Essen war tadellos. Alles in einem ein gelungener Aufenthalt… kann man nur empfehlen!!
