Lovely hotel, had a great stay, room was spacious and comfortable, food was great, the housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful.
I was very disappointed with my stay and the hotel is at best a 2 star. My room was located at the very end of a long hallway, requiring me to pass through three separate sets of doors to reach it. The location felt extremely isolating, and as a solo female traveler, I did not feel safe.
The peephole in the room door was uncovered, which made me uncomfortable and forced me to cover it with tissue myself.
The room layout was also odd and unwelcoming. There were three beds in the room, one of which appeared to be randomly placed, making it feel like the space had been used to accommodate multiple people. Additionally, there were no plug sockets near any of the beds, which was very frustrating and impractical. I wouldn't recommend to stay here.
In a perfect location for what we needed. Lovely facilities
The mattress was too old. Could feel the springs and too soft. Pillows were not comfortable either
Staff really nice
Excellent stay. Exceptionally friendly helpful staff. Breakfast and dinners delicious. Our only issue was the shower in the bath. Very hard to climb in and out, with age related problems and recent back surgery. Would definitely like another visit later in the year.
A bit out of town but nice spot, food was good, Sunday Lunch was excellent
