Hotel Granvia Hiroshima

2泊しました。ラウンジ付きのプランでした。ホテルの従業員の方たちの接客態度がたいへんすばらしく、とても充実した旅行になりました。機会あればまた同じようなスタイルのプランで申し込みたいと思います。

ホテルの方が大変優しかったです。駅近で荷物も預かってくれるため助かりました。

La habitación era de buen tamaño.

Our one-night stay at this hotel was unfortunately very disappointing and felt like a waste of time.

We had requested in advance for no feather bedding due to allergies and asthma, and we also reserved a higher-level room with two twin beds. Upon arrival, we experienced long waits in the lobby, and it felt like our requests were not being properly acknowledged. We eventually had to leave and return later that night just to give them more time to prepare the room.

When we finally received a room, it was incorrect-only one queen bed. We had to go back to the front desk again, which resulted in more waiting. A new room was eventually provided with two twin beds, but it was a downgrade from the room type we paid for, and no refund or adjustment was offered.

Even more concerning, the bedding situation was still not properly resolved. They did not have standard non-feather twin comforters available and instead provided wool blankets, which is not suitable for guests with allergies. This was very frustrating and concerning from a health standpoint.

The breakfast area was also very small and overcrowded for such a large hotel, which made the experience unpleasant.

There were a few positives-baggage storage service was helpful, and some staff were polite-but overall the service and organization need significant improvement. The lobby rugs also appeared worn and not very clean, and our room view facing the train station was not ideal.

Overall, the hotel did not meet expectations, especially in handling basic requests and guest comfort. We hope they improve their service and attention to guest needs.

It is located very near to train stations, restaurants/malls. Perfect location and convenient. Room is reasonably spacious and clean. Service oriented staffs.

We stayed at the Hotel Granvia Hiroshima for two nights. While we were perfectly satisfied, it’s one of those places that somehow leaves only a faint impression. Like many large chain hotels, it does everything right, just without much personality.

Its biggest strength is the location: right next to Hiroshima Station. If you’re traveling with luggage, it couldn’t be more convenient, about a five-minute walk, easy to find, and even a fun little bonus along the way with a Pokémon Center...

The lobby is spacious and impressive, and the processes are smooth and efficient, especially if you arrive early and want to drop off your bags, as we did. At an extra counter.

The location works well for exploring further afield too, since all major train and tram lines converge at the station. There are also a few surprisingly good restaurants in the immediate area.

Check-in and service were very friendly and, as so often in Japan, extremely efficient.
The room itself was generously sized, very clean, and came with a comfortable bed. Despite being so close to the station, we didn’t notice any noise at all.

Breakfast is served in two different restaurants, giving you a choice. The selection was plentiful, though especially the Western style venue was already quite busy by 7:00 a.m. on both mornings.
