The breakfast
The cold bathroom
We had a wonderful stay at The Hope Anchor. The hotel has beautiful interiors and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was both tasty and filling, and we especially loved that we could take our coffee to go in a takeaway cup. It was also very convenient to be able to leave our bags at reception after checking out so we could enjoy the town before our train. Highly recommended!
Nothing .
Good view. Friendly staff.
A little tired decor but didn’t affect our stay. I know it is expensive to redecorate often.
Good central location in Rye
The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good
They allowed us to store our ebikes in a room behind reception
As others have said, the place is tired and in need of re decoration.
Our room was cold. The weather was chilly but there was no heating in the room.
The shower was sufficiently powerful and the shower tray drain sufficiently poor that within a short time the shower had to be turned off to stop the shower tray flooding.
A smile and a warmer welcome would have been good
The breakfast was perfectly adequate with what you'd expect at a hotel of this ilk. My room was warm and cozy with excellent views over the surrounding area. The hotel was a short walk from the old historic town, which was delightful with some lovely shops and restaurants.
The hotel offered a great room to store my bike.
The bed was too soft for my liking and sometimes I could feel the springs.
Great easily accessible position in the town, friendly staff, easy checking, quiet rooms, fantastic views.
No real ale
Ideale Lage um Rye zu erkunden
Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war schon etwas abgenutzt.
The location is lovely with great views across to Camber Castle.
The room was up in the eaves and that would be difficult for anyone tall.
Location excellent. Quirky with character.
A little tired.
