Het was een zeer aangenaam hotel en de terras is zeker een aanrader, je ziet alle bezienswaardigheden vanuit 1 plek en een must om er te genieten van een kopje koffie. Ook de zwembad en sauna moet je gedaan hebben. Voor de twijfelaars, je krijgt er geen spijt van, zeer dichtbij openbaar vervoer.

Geen negatieve ervaring gehad. Ben zeer tevreden.

Io ho prenotato una camera matrimoniale standard, piccola ma abitabile e molto carina.
La pulizia era eseguita tutte le mattine con cambio di asciugamani; lenzuola pulite. La pulizia era buona ma non perfetta.
La colazione è prevalentemente salata, erano comunque presenti cereali, latte, yogurt, granola, marmellate, cioccolato, pane, frutta essiccata e dolci tipici turchi.
La posizione è ottima, vicino alla M2 e al tram T11. Nonostante è nella zona di soulthanament, la via è molto tranquilla e silenziosa (non si sentivano i richiami della preghiera)

Cons:

Non sono troppo accoglienti, ma è una cosa che abbiamo riscontrato in generale in Turchia.
Questa nota negativa non è riferita all’hotel ma ATTENZIONE alle persone che girano in torno alle macchine per ricaricare la tessera IstanbulCard perché sembrano gentili, offrendo il loro aiuto per ricaricare la tessera (sulle macchinette ci sono tutte le lingue) ma alla fine ti rubano i soldi caricando le loro tessere.

Nice and relaxing
Pros:

Great location with everything just a stroll away from the hotel, basic but sufficient breakfast, nice rooftop terrace and kind service from the stuff, especially from Ufuk and Yusuf on our early morning departure.

Went during Ramadan and the food they provided for the pre dawn meal was beyond abysmal. Bread of poor quality and not much else other than some veg. Was promised a room with a balcony but was not given. Chases up reception staff for 2 days of my 5 night stay with no luck so gave up asking.

L'hôtel est très bien situé pour visiter le centre d'Istanbul. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable. La propreté est au rendez-vous et le petit-déjeuner est varié sous forme de buffet. Bravo à toute l'équipe.

Cons:

Un supplément de 200TL est demandé pour un sachet d'infusion pour le soir. Au Market de la rue, j'ai acheté une boîte de 20 infusions pour 190TL

While there were some positive aspects—namely the hotel’s excellent location and the professionalism of certain staff members, including Guest Relations Name Lopoinds, Reception Staff Ufuk and Samet Arzu and another chap I didn't get ghe name of, had curly dark long hair —these do not outweigh the overall experience.

Cons:

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent stay at Orka Hotel and to request a partial refund due to multiple service failures, unmet expectations, and health and safety concerns.

This booking was made with clear expectations based on your advertised standard, facilities, and room configuration. Unfortunately, the experience fell significantly short in several key areas:
Firstly, I had specifically booked two connected rooms due to travelling with children. On arrival, the rooms were not connected, causing ongoing disruption and inconvenience throughout our stay, with children needing to repeatedly access our room via the corridor.
Cleanliness standards were also unacceptable. The bed sheets in our room had visible hair on them upon arrival. This should have been immediately rectified by housekeeping; instead, we were left to change the bedding ourselves, which is not acceptable for a hotel of this rating.
There were also serious health and safety concerns. During the first use of the pool, my daughter cut her foot on the tiles. When assistance was requested, the first aid box lacked basic supplies, and the spa attendant showed little concern or urgency. This reflects a clear failure in duty of care and basic safety provision.

The facilities—one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel—were not delivered as advertised. The terrace pool was closed throughout our stay, and the main pool was uncomfortably cold. In addition, our children were repeatedly told to be quiet despite there being no evident disturbance or other guests present. This created an unwelcoming environment and prevented us from reasonably using the facilities we had paid for.
The Turkish bath was also not accessible as expected. It was cold and frequently unavailable, as we were repeatedly asked to leave to accommodate treatments despite the presence of designated treatment rooms. This further limited access to facilities included in the stay.
