Great place to stay in Canterbury
Pros:

Love building, great location, very nice rooms. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or done more for us during our stay. So friendly.

Cons:

Our shower head wasn’t great, the water aimed almost straight downwards so you had to lean into get under the spray.

Disappointed and sad
Cons:

Continental breakfast. Guests allowed to pick one item from each section, it was waitress service. 1 small cup of coffee, £4.25 fora refill. What a shame they are doing this, we loved staying there, but won’t be staying again

Very disappointing!
Cons:

Why would an establishment that is in such a good position to Canterbury let itself down so badly.
Times are hard for all but when one books a stay away as a treat with hard earned money it’s not only disappointing but infuriating when you come away feeling ripped off!
Room was dirty, filthy net curtains windows dirty.
Drips of some sort of fluid running down the mirror ( quite revolting)! Broken plug in bathtub.
Room and bathroom needed a complete overhaul!
The room was very small and nothing like the photos when we booked.
The so called “Good Breakfast” that was included in the price was a very poor and mean portioned continental breakfast not a cooked breakfast (that is an extra cost!) very misleading!
No coffee or tea pots just a very lukewarm small cup brought to the table.
When food did come it was poor quality cold and portions so small .

Come on Abode sort it out ,your in a prime location you really need to do better for the customer , reputation is everything . Other places we normally stay were fully booked you were the only ones that had a room , now I know why!
All in all very disappointing!!!

Pros:

Room was spacious and the bed was comfy. Location is superb, couldnt be better placed, and looking over that tudor looking gallery. Breakfast was excellent.

Lovely hotel, well located with excellent staff.
Pros:

The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our expectations were met. Even going so far as to explain the breakfast service to us at check-in, as they had encountered issues with other peoples expectations previously. I felt it was excellent value for money and the team really were incredibly helpful. This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Canterbury.

Cons:

There was building work going on next door, but this was out of their control. It started at 0800 on the Saturday morning right next to the room we were staying in.
