Location is very good day staff were lovely and very helpful. Night staff could’ve been better.
The bar shuts at 11 it should serve residence of the hotel later till 12 midnight
Location is excellent. The bonus was safe secure parking right in the centre of Canterbury. The room was clean and very well appointed. The reception staff were really attentive.
The breakfast service was terrible. They say a continental breakfast is included. This is not a buffet and amounted to one piece of toast and a croissant which took 30 minutes to be served.. People were walking out as it was taking so long to process orders which were not for cooked breakfasts !!!!
Very central for Canterbury
Breakfast was disappointing the price stated includes breakfast, but failed to state continental only, for cooked breakfast and additional charge was levied. The hotel Car park cost £25 per day.
amazing location, rooms are extremely comfortable and cozy
i prefer buffet breakfast rather than ordering something specific from a list
Great location!
Small room for what we paid! Booked premium and got a standard room.
Beautiful building, in a really good location.
Comfortable bed and lovely room.
Very flat pillows which were uncomfortable, when I asked for firmer pillows I was told there wasn’t any, that the pillows were all the same.
The continental breakfast was poor. Not very good choices, I had the fruit and toast/croissant. The fruit was one strawberry cut up, 2 squares of pineapple and melon. The toast came with a very small amount of butter that wasn’t enough for 2 slices of very normal bread and I’m still waiting for the jam to arrive.
My husband chose the porridge was barely warm, and he finally got his orange juice at the end of breakfast after asking twice for it.
A continental should have a choice of fruits, breads and cheeses and meats. A pot of tea/coffee or at least a free top up, instead of one cup.
Also the parking should be free, we had to pay £25 a night for parking even though it’s the hotels car park.
The location
There was a very musty/damp smell as we walked into our room , the bathroom was dingy , had a light bulb missing , the shower was just hanging out of a hole in the ceiling , it was a very tired hotel that needs some work on it . Our booking included a continental breakfast which I asked on reception if I could upgrade but I was told I had to do that in the morning in the restaurant, so when I asked them if we could upgrade I was told that my booking included breakfast so we went ahead and ordered and then when we checked out we were charged £29.75 !
Friendly helpful staff.
Comfortable room. Good breakfast
Great location, staff and breakfast.
The staff were helpfull and welcoming.
Perfect location in town
I couldn't find the towels but was told on our way out that if was in a bag in the cupboard.
Normally the towels would be easy to find.
