2N3 day stay near JR Ueno station
Pros:

Convenient location. 10 mins walk to JR STATION Iriya exit. Comfortable beds and pillows

Cons:

Very small compact rooms which is fine.. Room has insufficient light and the full length mirror can be relocated to take advantage of natural light? ( currently a pillar blocks it) . The position of tap makes it difficult to use / fill up the kettle kindly provided by the hotel

Clean, modern hotel in good location for Ueno Station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Complimentary soup and tea in the lobby was a nice touch. Small room is to be expected in Tokyo, but has all you need. Nice shower with good pressure, comfy bed, slept soundly.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike.

Pros:

Staff very friendly and helpful. The calligraphy class a real bonus and well worth trying if you can.
Very convenient for local eateries in Ueno and wider sightseeing in Tokyo.

Cons:

Room was very small for 4 night stay and a pity the breakfast was dropped.

Pros:

The location can’t be beat. The hotel itself felt like a small boutique hotel. It was clean, modern and had everything we needed. We loved the shower pressure and shampoo products provided, we also lucked out on a calligraphy event in the lobby one day that has so far been our favourite thing in the trip.

Cons:

The only downside wa she sewer gas smell in washroom but we are learning that is common everywhere in Tokyo. The pillows were also quite firm.

safe and clean but expensive for what you get
Pros:

The location was close to the train to Narita, the park and restaurants. The hotel looked stylish

Cons:

It felt like a hostel but the price was similar to what I had paid for a much more upscale hotel in Shinjuku. It was DIY room cleaning and yet there was housekeeping, they had their stuff all over the hallways. We had to step over it to get into our room. If we had gotten the room cheap it would have been fine but we got a budget hotel room for a lot of money

Excellent facilities, close to a major station, less than 30 minutes to Haneda airport.
Pros:

Very close to Ueno station (5 minutes), facilities excellent. Room small as are all rooms in Tokyo but easy to stay in. Extra items easily available such as a toothbrush. Only one stop from Tokyo central. close to main museums. Vibrant restaurant area.

Cons:

Nothing of significance. Great place to stay.

Exceed my expectation!
Pros:

We booked a twins bed room and it was larger than I thought, as hotel room in Tokyo are always very small. Well-equipped.

Cons:

Quite far away from Ueno Station which required around 10 to 15 mins walk. The air con is a bit noisy but acceptable. May consider providing air purifier in room too.
