Pros:

location was a couple minute walk to Ueno station (Ueno station is one of the shinkansen stops) and there is a good amount of amenities provided by the hotel.

Cons:

the size of the hotel room was a little small, but that is typical of most Tokyo hotels.

Quiet humble abode and close to trains, markets and shopping.
Pros:

The variety of food in the foyer where you could relax and also the space that you could relax in. The staff were friendly also.

Cons:

Needs a bigger sign as we missed it when we first checked in.

Unbeatable location and clean hotel near Ueno Station.
Pros:

Unbeatable location in Ueno, directly across from the train station. The rooms are on the smaller side by European standards, but that’s typical for Japan. The hotel is very new and exceptionally well maintained. This was my second stay, and I’ll gladly choose this location again.

Took great care of me when I arrived with food poisoning!
Pros:

Food available during the day time was an awesome surprise and it was tasty

I actually showed up with food poisoning and the staff was so kind and helpful. I even had a bag of sick with me from getting sick on the street. I had to check in still but had dropped off my luggage prior. They led me to the lobby bathroom so i can take a moment there. I was grateful for how clean it was as I was still sick. Then 2 staff members helped me bring my luggage to my room so I didn't have to touch a thing. One lady was even comforting me while they prepared my key. 10/10 appreciate who checked me me.
