Great for family stay, near behrend campus UPA,
Pros:

The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The day managers DK and Vijeta, night manager Safe all were great. They frequently offered treats to our grandkids and make sure we have everything we need. The cleaning staff, Jeanne, took great care of us and were always available to offer any needed replacements. The layout of our room, 114, with a king bed and a couch was great for our visit with grandkids and allowed us room to move around when needed. Fridge and microwave and pool were great additions for our visit.

Cons:

The bed in our room caused us some discomfort. The sheets need to have deeper pockets so the sheets don’t pop off the corners during the night and end up wadded up in the middle of the bed. The mattress we had was not comfortable as there was an indentation on one side from frequent use and it really needed to be replaced. The other side was more comfortable but it was so close to the wall it was obviously used less frequently. The side with the indentation made a crinkling noise anytime you moved on the bed. Again hard to replace on a moments notice but something to improve future visits.

Cons:

I thought I booked a different hotel, same name, but in a location closer to campus. When I tried to check in at that hotel, they informed that I actually booked at this one, and that happened "more often than you would think." The booking process was a little misleading. The location was much further away, and had I know that I would not have booked there. But that was more of a booking error, nothing against the hotel itself.

We were happy to find this for the value. Kind of basic necessities that were comfortable.
Pros:

It was comparable to Holiday Inn Express. The eating area was rather small in the Harborcreek location, but the food and coffee were just as good. We did notice that the noice level was higher but there were not a lot of guests so it equalled out. There is no elevator to the second floor which is a problem for those with disabilities. The rates were really good.

Cons:

So the breakfast serving space is small and there is no elevator to the second floor.

Cons:

We were assigned the first room off the lobby, across from the restrooms and the snack bar. We were awakened at 2:30 AM and 4:30 AM by loud voices and laughter outside our door. Nobody asked them to quiet down - except me. Considering how close your motel is to Behrend College, we shouldn't have been surprised. 😒😒

Not to bad for a night
Pros:

Room wasn't bad at all, worked for whar we needed it for.

Cons:

Breakfast was empty one hour after it started and wasnt very good. Had to carry luggage up steps, no elevators.
