Lovely hotel - would recommend and will return

Great location - really good food - very comfortable and great vibe.

Overly keen to lock up at night so we had to vacate and go to our room - was only about 10pm!

A lovely 5-night stay in an attractive and very friendly hotel overlooking the beautiful lagoon.
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast., particularly when it was warm enough to eat it outside! Great view from our room which had a little balcony overlooking boats on the lagoon. Comfortable bed. A good choice of restaurants less than five minutes walk from the hotel. We would go back.

Cons:

There was a problem with the shower temperature, not helped by the general water pressure situation in the area. You could occasionally smell cooking from the kitchen.

Stunning hotel and facilities with wonderful views of the lagoon
Pros:

Apartment is a beautiful large room and lovely outdoor spaces. Breakfast is great

Cons:

Restaurant for evening was nice but food could have been explained a little clearer as in small plates / large plates and service of them

Luxury, full of loveliness!
Pros:

Arrived at The Lofts on Thesen Island for a two day stay as part of a 15 night trip around South Africa and we were wowed by this hotel and their hospitality.
Thank you Lesley and Mercy and Sirve for your warm welcome and your generous offer of an upgrade ( we are celebrating our 40 th anniversary and my hubbies 70 th birthday).
The position of the hotel is right in the centre of this little tourist village that overlooks the estuary. The views are picture perfect and we woke up to the gorgeous views of the lagoon.
You can wander around the small village with ease and enjoy a range of cafes , bars and restaurants; you can also enjoy reading about the history of the area too. Take a short walk into the marina and you can enjoy more shops etc and take a boat to the nature reserve.

The Lofts breakfast was lovely! Well, the food wherever we have been has been absolutely delicious. Nevertheless, the staff in the restaurant were very friendly, polite and lovely to chat to.

Thank you everyone at The Lofts for making our time with you memorable!

The Loft, fab place
Pros:

The Loft is a fabulous place to stay. The room we had was spacious, very clean, well equipped and a fantastic decked area to watch the wonderful sunset. The staff were all lovely and very attentive, offering complimentary beers and water every day.
Local bars and restaurants were all nearby with a variety of cuisine, suitable for all.
It was a great location too for all nearby attractions. Elephant sanctuary, Monkey world and Birds of Eden
