A safe haven to come back to in Nyali
Pros:

I loved everything about my stay at Nyali Boutique hotel! All the staff were polite, lovely and kind. They just got on with what needed to be done and allowed me and my travel companion to enjoy our vacation and feel right at home in our accomodation.

I booked the large family room for myself; it was a huge room with a beautiful large balcony and partial sea view overlooking the pool too.

My room had a large comfortable bed, with a mosquito net on the four poster. The room had a compfy sofa, there was a TV, wadrobes and large side tables. There was also air con and a fan, which came in handy as the weather was nice and hot.

The bathroom was huge, with a shower, bath and twin sinks.

The restaurant staff were amazing and the restaurant makes a lovely breakfast. The hotel is not far from attractions, within easy walking distance or if the heat is too much you can easily book a Tuk Tuk or boda boda.

Its super easy to get to near by beaches for relaxation, the mall is not far and offers some beautiful places to eat. If you want to party in the evening then you can head to a few destinations including Alcapone. The hotel is in easy reach of Old town Mombasa and Fort Jesus for a half day of sightseeing.

Nyali Botique was a sanctuary to come back to after a hot busy day of exploring and it was a pleasure to stay there.

P.S They have a beautiful, clean pool - its between 4'-8' deep

Cons:

Its not the hotels fault, but next door theres a massive building project happening, it looks like its almost finished, but sometimes theres some banging and drilling from the construction. Also! again not the hotels fault but the big building has blocked what was once possibly a breathtaking view.

Very old building, windows not opening or closing properly, dusty, toilet has no washing and shower head too close to the wall and you had to stick yourself to the wall to get water on your body, too loud music and television from the bar direct to your window all the time day and night, not rest at all. Not good value for money.

Pros:

Le petit déjeuner n’était pas vraiment bon mais pour le prix c’était correct, la vue est gâchée par un grand immeuble en construction juste devant.. sinon tout le personnel est très attentif et agréable. La piscine de bonne taille est un plus car la plage juste à côté est plutôt rocailleuse.. il faut marcher un peu pour avoir une plage de sable. Centre commerciaux vraiment à proximité. Très bon rapport qualité prix

Cozy environment,near the mall but need basic service!
Pros:

They really try to fresh up the hotel. Paint and restaurant was nicely done and they have cute monkeys around and a pool. The food we order for dinner was Tasty and actually it's a really cozy hotel who just need a general cleaning and better service. It has potential!

Cons:

Service in the restaurant was slow but friendly takers. We wait more than one hour, the juice was not fresh. We decided to eat in the nearby mall in java coffee during the rest of the days.
Disappointed that the hotel couldn't even serve tea when the chefs go home. Really easy to buy a kettle for reception or just somewhere in the hotel when you don't have it in the rooms. It's good service for guests.
We stayed in a small room without AC with a Loud fan. When the electricity was gone it was like a hot cave. People outside the room start working 6.00 and we could close the broken window. Toilet seat missing and loose tap. The hotel need a general fresh up, fixing the broken things.
