We had everything we needed! Love the slope-side pool and hot tubs.
One day the leaf blower was cranking all morning into the afternoon. That was a bummer.

The sofa bed wasn’t good but the rest was perfect!

Location and access to the mountain
The pool area was overcrowded, and the hot tubs were quite dirty. They ran out of towels for the pool. The walls are paper-thin and you can hear whats going on loudly in surrounding rooms and hallways

It's a pretty picture, arriving at the hotel at night with the white lights decorating the trees and hotel. You step out the back door and you're on the slopes... and you can ski back to the hotel at the end of your day.
There are two large hot tubs outside, plus a big swimming pool! And robes in each room to wear to the pools (although we were only provided with 2 robes for 3 guests).
When booking this hotel, I was under the impression that they had a courtesy shuttle - upon arrive via the SkyLynx bus from Vancouver, I called the hotel to request a pick up, only to be informed that the courtesy shuttle is actually the town bus. I was told by the front desk staff that we needed to walk through the village to the other side to catch the town bus #5. Myself and my two daughters had to schlep 12 bags, including ski gear, across the village in the dark and in the pouring rain, ending at a 3-tier staircase UP to the bus stop! We arrived at the hotel soaked, covered in mud, and feeling beat up from the grueling task. Then, days later, when riding bus #21, we passed right by the Gateway Loop where the SkyLynx bus dropped us off. It would have been greatly appreciated if the front desk had told us about this bus, as catching 2 buses would have been easier than carrying 12 bags across the village. And we did try Uber, but there were not any options for an Uber XL that could fit our bags, just small little passenger Ubers. I just would think that a ski hotel, on the ski slope, would be more accommodating for guests arriving for a ski vacation.
There is not a ski valet attendant, but rather a rolling rack you are supposed to stand your skis on. We didn't want to leave our expensive gear unattended, so we put everything back in our padded travel bags at the end of each day and laid them down on the floor in our living room.
There are not any cafes nearby. You really are best off going to the market and making breakfast in your suite. Otherwise, bus #5 comes often and is easy to catch into town (which we did for dinners), just not ideal in the mornings before skiing when everyone is hungry for a quick breakfast. The front desk recommended Uber Eats, so that's what we did in the mornings.
The location is the best feature - ski in ski out.
Could not use the hot tubs for a few of the days as they were full of guests that would hang out there for hours with their large groups. Also kids were hanging in and around the adult hot tub. We have been coming for a few years and this was the first time we have experienced this. Also the ski valet was swamped. As mentioned we have been coming for a few years and the rooms and facilities need some more updating.
Location was amazing. Ski in/Ski out right on the Blackcomb gondola. The amenities were great as the pool and hot tub is on all year around. It was nice and hot. Ski valet was a nice surprise right as you get on and off the slope onto the property. We were able to bring our fur baby as it is a pet friendly location which was a plus. Overall, good experience except for the horrible rain we had.
The kitchen was ok as there was no pans, only pots. Quite small for what it is, but still able to get what you needed done. I don't know why hotels skimp on toilet paper, but I think all hotels can do better. Just give us the good stuff!
