Very convenient for the City Centre and secure. Excellent service at check in. Quiet for its location and clean. Good selection of basic kitchen equipment, and cleaning products.
The bed was super soft, which is ok for some but not the best if you like a firmer mattress. The WiFi code was nowhere to be found in the room, but I didn’t ask the emergency number for it as it was quite late in the day when I was looking for it.
They could not issue the invoice in the format required by my company, even though this has never been a problem before. Additionally, the online check-in process was unnecessarily complicated, with the PIN code system—not to mention the £150 deposit.
The deposit, by the way, had to be paid after I had already made the booking and paid for the room, which I did not realize. As a result, my boss had to call me in the middle of the night because he couldn’t access the property and there was no one available to assist.
The room was perfectly nice. Jeff was very helpful.
As there is no-one on site, everything is done online. After booking you are greeted with a flurry of e-mails which - maybe it's a generational thing - I find exasperating. The online check in process was elaborate and painful. In the end I couldn't do it and rang up for help. Jeff was then very helpful and kindly sorted it out for me. So we got there, but I wonder if the process could perhaps be made easier.
The location was perfect for what we needed. Although it is a slight walk from town it was quick and easy. There is a slight incline on the way back which could be something to consider if you struggle to walk. The room was clean and comfy with all the amenities you would need.
Considering it was a booking for 2 people there was only one bowl and one fork, however, after some great communication we were offered to have a later checkout free of charge which was much appreciated.
Easy check and really helpful customer service on the phone as the online checkin is not clear you have to submit a card too
So much information and emails it would be better if these were reduced as finding the right info or link to click makes you lose the will to live. Parking is on the street and only free after 5pm Satudays and Sundays - this is not clear, but luckily did not impact me.
Room was lovely
Toilet wouldn’t flush, the online check in is a nightmare and the fact theres no staff on reception to help us bad. Person on the phone was very helpful and the security guard was sound

Lack of cheap parking
Building and room were clean, modern decor, comfortable bed. Kitchen contained everything we need. Shower was good.
Property is described as being in city centre, but it was a good 20 minute walk to main market square, castle, etc. 25+ minute walk to train station. Plenty of food options around if you are going for take away; the 3 pubs nearby had either limited or no food options. We had requested and paid for early check-in 2 days prior to arrival in but we could not get into our room with the code (it worked on external door to building). Thankfully cleaning staff were on-site so she was able to let us into our room. This was another Booking listing where there was no mention of damage deposit required when booking - this came later when a very detailed advance check-in process was involved. Lift was broken. Room was very warm so we had to run the AC at night - window didn’t open.
Compact and good location comfortable bed
There wasn't enough toilet roll for 2 days and there where dust and crumbs on the floor but that wouldn't stop be from staying again
Convenient location. Comfy and spacious room and bed. Well equipped.
The building was spotlessly clean, well-decorated, decent facilities in room.
A fair walk out of town and up a hill. Parking is not available as shown on Bkg.com site, v misleading …..there are public pkg lots in the area (long walk wt bags) and a v small, expensive parking lot opposite (12 spaces?), unsurprisingly full and totally insecure for an overnight stay. You can’t stop outside Dwell front door. Really inconvenient. Lift was broken…. Checking in to get door code a total pallava….felt like we were taking a flight or buying a house…..so many questions, procedures, scan this, photograph that …etc. Felt like a lot of work. Check out at 10am is unreasonably early imo. No, Im not paying an extra £25 when wr only want one hour more.
Bed was comfy
The room we was allocated had nothing in it when we arrived no furniture or bed. The photos on the advert was misleading I thought id booked an apartment with sofa. We was allocated another room which was small. The window had been left wide open so the room was freezing. The room I had was on the ground floor which suited me as I am recovering from a back operation the room we was then subsequently given was on the third floor. The company who owns the building had not even cared to communicate to us that the room would not be available they left it for us to contact them when we found the room was empty very disappointing to be honest.
