Pros:

Location was great, within the historic area and plenty of food nearby. Room was a decent size, but had no place to put your clothes. Bathroom was large with two sinks.. The staff were all great. Walking distance to Jetty Food Court. Pool was very small but adequate for our purposes.

Cons:

Soap dispensers didn't work great and were rusty but that was a small thing that didn't impact our stay.

Idéalement situé, calme et confortable
Pros:

L’hôtel est idéalement placé en face des jetties, à quelques pas des rues les plus touristiques de George Town. Très calme, mais notre chambre donnait sur le jardin, je ne sais pas si c’est plus bruyant côté rue. Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable. Notre chambre était spacieuse et bien équipée. La lit super confortable. La piscine est petite et peu profonde (jusqu’à la taille). Mais c’est mieux que rien.

The best place to stay in George Town
Pros:

Savv hotel is a wonderful friendly hotel ideally situated to explore the main historic sights of George Town and close to restaurants and shops. The hotel is immaculately clean throughout and the rooms are very well appointed. The hotel is quiet with a pool and breakfast area located in a lovely cool and calm garden area at the rear of the property. The whole team at Savv are friendly, helpful and professional - they honestly cannot do enough for you. The whole place has the feel of a well run family owned hotel. Highly recommended.

Grote kamer en mega badkamer

Cons:

Wij zaten aan de voorkant van het hotel, heb je leuk uitzicht op de jetty. Maar aan die kant zit ook het tankstation en het verkeer gaat de hele dag en nacht door, weinig geluidsisolatie!
Zwembad is een dompelbadje van 1m diep.
Ontbijt was okay

Kabine ist funktional. Sie gehen allerdings alle im 1. Stock nach vorne raus zur Hauptstraße und Tankstelle. Das Frühstück und das zubereitete Omlett von Mey war herrlich. Auch die Lage in der Nähe der Streetart und Altstadt war prima

Great location, lovely staff and comfortable
Pros:

The staff are all lovely here.
We opted out of the breakfast option but you can get a very good breakfast for 20 myr.
We didn’t use the pool. There doesn’t seem to be many sun loungers by the pool but they have more on an upstairs sun terrance.
The hotel is a great location especially when we found the free bus (CAT) was a few minutes across the road❤️ plus the local Rapid bus, which we didn’t use.
Also across the road on the other side of the hotel you have Chew Jetty. On the same side as hotel and opposite Chew Jetty, you have a large Food Court with beer.
Coming out of the hotel go around the back (first left) you will not only find one of the famous street art there but a safer walk than the main road🤔
We had the superior king sized room, 204 which was very comfortable. It did look on to a room with a balcony but we had net and large curtains…next time I would book this room with the balcony!
The water in the tap is drinkable which is great not using plastic bottles but …you do need a small plastic bottle, to fit in the small fridge, if you want cold water!

Cons:

Nothing…only my husband disliked the handheld bidet sprayer which has no tap on the end nozzle! This means quite a waste of water until you get the main switch turned off!

Great hotel close to the ferry and little India
Pros:

Absolutely the most magnificent shower in any hotel room I’ve ever experienced!
The check in nice lady was Angel- she was so very friendly joyful and helpful, with a great sense of humour. Even the security guard downstairs consistently smiled and was cheerful and friendly. Finally the breakfast quality and nice lady that cooked it made our stay very satisfactory. All three staff members are a credit to the hotel.
