The staff were awesome! The location was perfect. We were able to walk to Bourbon Street for the festivities and still have a quiet place to sleep. The bartenders went above and beyond to make any drinks you wanted and the concierge were great at helping me find everything including a place for my man to watch his team play football ⚽.
The pool was ice cold and the rooftop bar was closed so early that you didn't get to enjoy the view at night. The shampoo and body wash wouldn't lather and didn't smell very good.
I like that the property was located downtown and close to everything. The service from the staff was great! We received free drink vouchers and unlimited free water for the room. Valet was available but the parking deck wasn’t far from the hotel for self parking.
Friendly people, professional warm people.
Nothing
We enjoyed our stay at Nopsi, the room was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The location was walking distance to Canal street and restaurants. Really like their convenience shop in the lobby.
This is a really beautiful hotel with a grand entrance. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite with a living room area, which was really nice. The bathroom is large with a huge shower. Liked the refrigerator, coffee pot, and soft pillows. The rooftop pool area was wonderful--one can relax in the sun or shade or sit at the bar. The gym is clean and has towels and water. The location was perfect for us--we could walk over to the French quarter or walk the other way to the Mardis Gras parades and the streetcar. The onsite bar/restaurant was nice. Every staff person was outstanding--friendly and helpful.
The beds were a bit too soft for us, but others may love that. We could have used a mircrowave, but it wasn't super important. There was no conditioner--just shampoo.
Excellent location and very helpful staff.
We an issue with one tv in the room not operating.
Everything
Staff was never available at the front desk at night
Very nice, upscale and accommodating
Nothing
this was the perfect spot to go sight seeing and enjoying the local flavors. It was super clean and our rooms were perfect. I wasn't expecting a view but our window faced another building 15 feet away. No big deal.
The staff was excellent. Very helpful and very friendly.
There was a major billing issue. I had reserved 2 rooms. When we checked I told them that I would pay for one room and the couple who traveled with us would pay for theirs. When we checked out the clerk asked if the credit card on file was being used. She also said they would email me a statement. I never got the statement but when I checked my credit card, I had been charged for 3 rooms and two $75 additional charges. When I called the next day they assured me it will be corrected and the $75 was to hold the rooms but didn't make sense because it was charged the day we checked out. They did send me a statement. Seeing all the local and additional hotel charges were not what I expected. These fees should be fully disclosed prior to booking.
Amber at the Valet was outstanding, originally we were going to self park and she provided us with information on how to get there, the safest parking, local bike shops, and various directions. We ended up using the valet because she was so pleasant. Also at check in I was given restaurant recommendations and she was very helpful as well, but I didn’t catch her name.
We didn’t have hot water, however the hotel quickly sent someone up and fixed the issue. He was also very personable.
Room was big, great location, close to French Quarter but quiet at night time
We arrived at 3PM, was informed by receptionist that we were number 2 in the queue. Check-in time was 4PM but our room wasn’t ready until 5PM. There were guests that checked in after us who also had to wait to have their room ready; however, they were able to check in to their room before us. Came up to front desk 3 times, 30 mins apart, inquiring about our room. Was told that rooms are still being cleaned and no estimated time of when the room will be done. We stayed there for 2 night and there were no room service. On check out day, despite calling down to the receptionist for valet, we still had to wait 40 minutes for our car even though there weren’t many people checking out nor waiting for valet
Good location, close to CBD, French Quarter and the river. Historic building, great architecture.
Ordered in room dining few times by phone, needed to call many times 'cause nobody was answering.
