Absolutely perfect location to visit this beautiful city
Pros:

The hotel is in a perfect location, a stone's throw from a beautiful square which is full of bars, restaurants and shops. However, it is tucked away behind the square so there is none of the associated noise.
Hotel staff are super helpful and friendly.
Our room was well equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, hairdryer and mini-bar fridge.
Decor is quirky with exposed beams and support pillars.
There are two disabled parking spaces right outside the front door. As I have a blue badge, this meant we could park for free for the duration of our stay. The gentleman on Reception kindly took the time to check this for us.

Cons:

The superking sized bed, although super comfy, was equipped with only a kingsize quilt which isn't ideal. However the pillows were super soft.
If I were to be extremely picky, I'd say that I think it's time to invest in some new bed linen and towels.. they are all a bit grey and tired.

Excellent hôtel à taille humaine en centre ville
Pros:

Emplacement exceptionnel dans la vieille ville de cet hôtel à la jolie décoration. Grande chambre très calme avec à disposition machine à café et tisanes, lits confortables. Petit-déjeuner excellent et avec un grand choix dans une salle du premier étage avec une jolie vue sur la vieille ville. Personnel très sympathique. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Cons:

Le sol de la (grande) douche est très glissant...

Pros:

Je chercher toujours , et sans exception depuis de très nombreuses années des chambres proches de lieux intéressants, proche d’un parking ( c’est le cas à 200m) n'oubliez pas que GAND est bcp piétonnier et vélos !! cet hôtel possède tous les critères : proche de restos à pied et visites de la vieille ville le long de ses canaux. franchement, un très belle escapade à recommander 🥰🥰
