Redelijk ruime kamer en een groot bed.

Cons:

Er was slechts één grote handdoek en één paar badkamerpantoffels terwijl we met twee waren.
Het eten in het restaurant was ver-schrik-ke-lijk. Het eten werd in de kamer geleverd omdat de airco in het restaurant niet werkte. Ik heb mijn maaltijd gewoon teruggegeven, want de kip was meer bot dan vlees en het vlees zag er niet appetijtelijk uit. Mijn partner voelde zich niet goed nadat ze een beetje van haar maaltijd had gegeten.
We hadden 's morgens allebei jeukende beten (bedwantsen?). Ik zat 's morgens alleen in het restaurant voor het ontbijt (mijn partner vertrouwde het eten niet meer). Er was wel drie man personeel (de vrouw maakte eieren klaar, de oudere man legde me uit wat er in het buffet te verkrijgen was en de derde man liep wat doelloos rond of stond uit het raam te staren).
De lichten boven het bed knipperden de hele tijd en ik moest de receptie bellen omdat ik de schakelaar niet vond. Die zat aan de achterkant van een van de nachtkastjes.
Beneden aan de receptie zat een groepje mannen - zowel bij aankomst als bij vertrek - die blijkbaar kennissen waren van de manager. Ze zaten ons ongegeneerd aan te staren bij het uitchecken. Vooral mijn vriendin voelde zich hier erg ongemakkelijk bij en zou het hotel al helemaal niet aanraden voor vrouwen die alleen reizen.

Sehr gutes, sauberes und preisgünstiges Hotel im Innenstadtbereich mit gepflegter Ausstattung. Gute Matratzen und ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten. Im Restaurant gibt es ein leckeres Frühstück. Die Speisekarte enthält auch vegetarische Speisen. Zusätzlich gibt es günstige Cafés und Restaurants im nahen Umfeld. Der Fährhafen nach Sansibar ist fußläufig erreichbar. Ausgesprochen freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Ich habe mich wohlgefühlt.

I appreciated staying at Nikko Towers and would again choose it for its central location.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good and nicely varied. Both, restaurant staff, desk and room service were welcoming, friendly and efficient.

Cons:

During my stay, I was booked in two rooms, firstly room on the 5th floor, which lacked space. The desk was very high, so that the accompanying chair was not high enough, which prevented working at this desk. My second room was on the 6th floor (604, if I remember well), and I was very satisfied with this room.

Comfortable stay. Few tweaks needed.
Pros:

Great shower and bathroom. Room clean and well appointed. Comfy bed. Location great for central station and/or ferry. Chap in charge of breakfast was great, very welcoming.

Cons:

AC system was noisy and had to turn it off overnight otherwise I couldn't sleep. Constant noise from mosque meant I couldn't relax and read in my room during the day. Didn't like staff knocking on the door to ask for money as they are hungry or being asked to leave a 10/10 review when I left

Good location. Just 10 minutes away walking from.the ferry terminal. Ok if you need to stay one night in Dar.

Cons:

I had to pay cash because they apply a 18% charge for card payments. Internet did not work at all in my room. There is a big mosque just across the street so the prayers on the loudspeaker are very very loud.

La habitación era cómoda.

Cons:

No nos dejaron pagar en dólares con la tarjeta de crédito cuando la máquina daba la opción. Nos obligaron a pagar en chelines a un tipo de cambio bastante malo que en el resto de Tanzania por lo que nos terminó saliendo bastante mas caro que lo que decia en booking.
