Grand Hotel Sunny Beach - All Inclusive

The location was good right opposite beach on busy part of strip and the rooms were decent but as for the rest it was a shocking hotel the food was pretty much the same every night and the worst all inclusive food I’ve ever had, the hotel kicked out various members of our party for stupid reasons for example singing and dancing round the pool to the music? The staff are miserable as anything one staff member that was actually nice told us she nearly lost her job for being too ‘friendly’ with us in the restaurant, the pool is tiny and shocking and god forbid the kids accidentally splash anyone sat on the front row of the pool you will be complained about for this, the kids accidentally got chocolate on the carpet (god knows why it’s carpet in a hotel room it’s usually tile?) and we were nearly charged £200 for damages until it was scrubbed out and proven they didn’t need to replace the whole carpet? Was honestly the worst hotel we’ve ever been to had such a horrible experience of Bulgaria due to it so yeah do not book this hotel

Clean, cozy, and just steps from the beach. The staff was very welcoming. Would definitely come back!

Location was amazing for the organisation of my girlfriend’s birthday party. We were given a room on a high floor and the panoramic view which was perfect for pictures. The animation was cool because they offered to play a bunch of different games during the day and there were sometimes shows during the night. Food was alright and staff was friendly. Good stay overall.

First time staying in this hotel and we absolutely loved it. The room was spacious and clean. The food is fantastic and there is lots of choice. We found it very delicious. The hotel has everything you need in order to have a great holiday. Perfect location close to the center and opposite the beach. Great value for money. The whole atmosphere in the hotel is fantastic. Everyone are so friendly and welcoming. Will be definetly back again next year.

The staff was wonderfully welcoming, the room was spotlessly clean and beautiful, and we had an absolutely fantastic holiday! I can’t wait to come back. 😍

The hotel is absolutely amazing. Great location close to center of the resort and opposite the beach. The food is delicious, and there is always a lot to choose from. The rooms are brand new. Very spacious and modern. The hotel has great entertainment program with lots of evening shows. The gym is fully equipped perfect for a work out. The staff are friendly and kind. We made lots of good memories here and highly recommend it.

My partner and I had a lovely holiday. The hotel has really good location. It right opposite the beach. The staff are friendly and they helped us to organize airport transfer. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is free wifi in the hotel. The all inclusive buffet food is good. There is a lot of choice. We are not picky eaters and loved it. There is plenty of alcoholic drinks included in the all inclusive package. Animation and evening programs were great. We enjoyed every second of our holiday. Very good value for money and would be back again next year

We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel. The hotel is modern, clean with excellent location. The food is delicious and with a wide variety of cocktail options. The hotel location is perfect in the heart of the resort. A few minutes walk from the Kuban center and a step away from the beach. Overall we loved our holiday.

One of the best all inclusive hotels we have been. The hotel is opposite the beach. The food was delicious and pleanty of choice. Great selection of drinks and cocktails. The parking is a bit small but the staff were kind to assist us. We had a great sea view studio. The hotel has a new and modern gym. It can be seen that everything was recently renovated. We really enjoyed the evening shows and the animation team are super friendly. We would definitely be back again this year

We have been several years to this hotel but our recent stay was amazing. The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms are so much better than before. Everything is new and modern. The housekeeping do a great job. The food and drinks were great, pleanty of choice. We were with our son and there was a lot of choice and every meal. We always found something for him to eat. The animation team are friendly and nice. Location is super convenient. The hotel organised us a airport transfer and this was very helpful.

Barely a 3 star, definitely not 4 star!!!
If you want to go to a hotel with a warm welcome, good food, reasonable level of alcoholic drinks, a comfortable sleep and possibly a nice dip in the pool, well this hotel is not for you!!
We have stayed at many 4 star all inclusive hotels previously and this is nowhere near the level of any of them, no matter what holiday company or anyone rates this hotel, it is no better than a 3 star and only just.
On arrival at the hotel, we went to the desk at 13.40, but couldn’t check in, as we had to come back at 14.00, no offer of drinks or anything and when we returned, there was about 30 people trying to check in at the small front desk….it was carnage, pushing and shoving to get checked in first…..We are British so wait our turn, but this will get you nowhere in this hotel.
We were given a room on the 7th floor, so required to use 1 of the 2 small lifts, yet again there was 20-30 people trying to use them, with more people pushing in (no staff to try and control it). The lifts are so poor, they are really erratic, we had to walk up to level 7 about 20 times throughout our week stay..
When we entered our room, which is deemed as an apartment ( the photos online are obviously panoramic, as it was nowhere near the size what we thought it would be). The bedroom had 2 single beds and the rest of the sleeping options were chair beds and we had paid full adult price for 3 people, so 1 of us slept on pop up bed. The towels are of poor quality, the small quilts had no covers on them, some of the pillows had no cases on them and there is a complementary bottle of water, that will not be replenished (thought this was all inclusive). The room had carpet throughout, extremely thin, this was clearly an addition to try and suppress the endless noise .

The food is of really low grade quality, we ate toast on a morning and we ate their first night only, but did go and look every night. This is a buffet style restaurant and the options were minimal. They clearly try to fill people up at the 3.30-5.00pm little meal, they put loads of frozen chips out, with bread and sausage/burger. We never saw any food at the hot plates that made you want to try it. On our last night there was about 100 people outside, queuing up for margarita pizza and chips… ( this is meant to be 4 star) That was the highlight of the selection.
We understand that different cultures may not be as polite as others, but we do expect the staff to be welcoming, but that was not what we received and how some of them serve you at the bar, is shocking, my wife was eating toast at breakfast and one of the table cleaners came and took her plate while she was still eating.
The outside area is really minimal, this hotel has 12 floors, possibly 500 people could be staying here, before we came we knew the pool was not the biggest , but it is tiny , for kids only.
The alcoholic drinks are barely alcoholic and there is no choice, plus is states around the hotel that you can not take drink to your room or you will get fined.
The entertainment is pretty much non-existent, we only saw it on at the correct time on one night.
The hotel in general needs a good spruce up, while walking up and down the stairs, there is cracks in the walls , plaster missing, floor tiles broken, cigarettes put out in plant pots.
You pay a premium for this hotel being only 50 metres from the beach, there are loads more hotels just set back slightly with loads more facilities, at a lower cost. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Amazing hotel! Location was perfect and the views were beautiful too. Rooms are tidy, and staff is very friendly too. They also have a nice gym which is a plus. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Sunny Beach. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and everything was well maintained throughout our visit. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed, which made us feel very comfortable. The highlight was definitely the beautiful view from our room – waking up to the sea every morning was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sunny Beach.

We had a great stay at Grand Hotel Sunny Beach. After a long travel from the US we were happy to arrive and be greeted by the friendly reception staff. We enjoyed the food and hotel facilities. The staff are friendly and kind. We had a great stay in Sunny Beach is very cheap compared to the US. We loved every second of our stay and would be back again to visit Bulgaria

Good location with a few meters opposite the beach. Friendly staff, free wifi and a brand new rooms and gym, clean and tidy. We enjoy our stay. Overall it was a good holiday having the option to choose from local hotel shows and city entertainment. The price was affordable for my family.

Staying at Sunny Beach hotel was an amazing experience! The staff were very kind and tried to make our experience top notch resulting in excellent service. Things like accommodating dietary preferences or suggesting activities really made our trip special. The hotel itself is gorgeous and has a fantastic atmosphere. The food was delicious as well.

I was surprised of the quality of that hotel in Bulgaria , really great location with a swimming pool and sandy beach right in front of the hotel. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the view was amazing. Rich and various breakfast, lunch, dinner with seasonal fruits and vegetables , very tasty ( local ). There are also a lot of restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance, so everything you need is close by. The best value for money hotel, highly recommended

Group of six adults, you get what you pay for. However main things hotel clean , rooms good however shower gel near sink not shower. Aircon at no extra cost is always a bonus. Right next to beach and no trouble with noise. Lifts are slow and not many just don’t use at peak times
