The breakfast was good and the location was great for the purpose of my visit.
The room was very dated and the floor was very creeky, there was no isolator for the fan in the toilet so this was also very noisy. Heating was not very powerful so took ages to warm up the room.
Opposite the Bic where we were seeing a concert, has parking, friendly and professional check in late evening and lovely service in the lounge bar at night and at break fast in the morning.
The bathroom was very cold, so did not want to take a shower in the morning. But this would not stop us returning, we would just not want the same room.
Hotel was lovely, staff very helpful. Rooms are lovely and clean but could do with a little updating. We will definitely stay again
We had table service in 1812, but had to either look for someone to take our orders or go and get it ourselves. They tended to favour the bigger tables for service, rather than come to us 2. Need more staff serving the bar area and table service. That is what is stated when you book a table in there that you have table service all night. This wasn't the case. This wouldn't put us of coming again, but definitely need more staffing

The curtain in our room was coming away from the tracking so let light in, needs to be fixed.
Location for bic. Great value hotel and parking. Breakfast very good. Clean. Staff very nice. Room big bed comfy mirror over dressing table . Table and 2 chairs for coffee. Windows you can open and a fan provided. Parking secure and only 8 a night.
Pillows very small not comfy. noise , yes we knew just unlucky to be directly over 1812. Bathroom dated and too hot. Didn't have a shower not using a rubber mat thanks. No plug in sink straight to pipes.
