Overall good stay with room for improvement
Pros:

The location of the hotel is excellent and the architecture of the building is beautiful. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff is really nice and polite.

Cons:

There were multiple things that did not meet my expectations. There was a strong drainage smell in the room, there was no handsoap in the restroom and the fan did not work, unless the light was on. Therefore, I could not have it on during the night. Additionally, it was advertised that breakfast was included, however it is only served M-F.

Staff was very nice and the room was comfortable. Some noise from the plaza but not too bad.

Pleasant. The building’s architecture is very nice.
Pros:

The location can’t be beat. It is in the heart of the historic district. The building itself is a beautifully remodeled convent. The individual rooms finished surfaces are nicely done. The carpeting is bad- worn. At night exterior rooms can be noisy. Avoid rooms above the bar/ restaurant area.

Cons:

The rooms are spacious, but the carpets are - I hate to say-disgusting- tattered and dirty. The room flooring needs to be replaced. The bathrooms need to be redone as well. The fixtures are aged and worn.

Church bell rings every 15 minutes in one particular wing of the hotel. No one can sleep if you get a room in that particular wing.
