Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.

Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.
Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay. -

Mary is so kind and hospitable. I really enjoyed my stay as I was alone, and she was so welcoming. She toured the city with me, and even gave me a good recommendation for bagels!!

The hotel was decent overall. The highlight was the staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Mary at the reception. She was super kind, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay, and made the whole experience much more pleasant.
What I liked most was the wonderful hospitality of Meri. She was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. Also, the guard outside managing the parking was very friendly and helpful. The property was clean, comfortable, and very enjoyable.

The team at Jerusalem Gold Hotel is truly gold. From Mary, who contacted us a few days before our arrival and did everything possible to make us comfortable, to Abdallah in the dining room, who welcomed us each morning like family coming for breakfast at his home — the hospitality was exceptional. Even the hotel owner came by one morning to personally welcome us and have a friendly chat. The warmth and personal attention made our stay feel very special.
