Very comfortable, good location and good breakfast.
Pros:

The warm hospitality of the staff was outstanding, particularly Mary. She even accompanied us to the entrance of the hotel when we had difficulty finding it. She accommodated special requests, upgraded our room, provided cold drinks and snack on arrival and answered questions.

Cons:

While the location is great, the actual entrance is very hard to find if you arrive by bus or train. No signage.

Very pleased with the excellent location, service and price and plan to stay there again.
Pros:

The location was perfect for us. The Jerusalem Gold Hotel is located at the entrance to Jerusalem, where the intercity train, local "street trains" and buses all meet, and right across from the International Convention Center of Jerusalem, where we attended a major international conference. We could roll out of bed and be in the conference in a leisurely 15 minute walk.
The staff was also excellent, especially Mary, the front desk agent, who went out of her way to arrange a room for us that met all our needs. She was also very helpful when we asked to leave some extra luggage at the front desk until check-in time.

Cons:

There needs to be signs on the side of the hotel facing Yafeh Street indicating which way to walk to reach the steps leading to the hotel entrance. (Of course, cab drivers will know how to drive to the entrance).

Pros:

Rooms were very clean, bathrooms have recently been redone. We liked how they have an additional sink in the kitchenette area. Beds and sheets were clean, comfortable. Loads of towels and pillows. We had breakfast at the hotel every day- it is outstanding! Fresh, hot rolls, croissants, eggs, pancakes, Shakshuka, sliced fish. Their staff is very helpful and responsive to your needs! Also, this hotel is in the most amazing location. Right across the street from the central bus station, in the middle of town where all the shops and restaurants are, right on the light-rail which brings you to other parts of town. Hotel would also be excellent for group stays.

Cons:

The hotel has been around for a long time, so there are parts that look dated and could use refurbishing. However, it is clean, comfortable, dependable and right in the heart of all the action.

הגענו זוג עם 3 ילדים. המלון קרוב לתחנה המרכזית ויש חניה צמודה אז היה נוח מאוד להגיע איך שנבחר. הכל במלון נקי ונעים ומרי שידרגה אותנו לסוויטה בלי שביקשנו. בכלל כל העובדים שם נהדרים ובפרט מרי שהיתה חייכנית, אדיבה ומקסימה וחשבה רק איך לדאוג לרווחתנו לדוג' הגיעה איתנו קבוצה גדולה מאוד של צעירים תיירים וכדי שלא נסבול מרעש, היא מראש נתנה לנו חדרים בקומה אחרת נפרדת והיינו לבד בקומה...תודה רבה מרי!

מרי הייתה מארחת יוצאת דופן – אדיבה, זמינה, מסבירת פנים ודאגה לכל פרט כדי שנרגיש בנוח. המקום היה נקי מאוד, מסודר, נעים ומאובזר היטב.
