Amazing time
Pros:

Such a social hostel. I honestly had the time of my life there and even extended my stay twice. The rooms were clean and the shared showers were always very clean too. Friendly staff and plenty of activities to do.

Cons:

What I liked less about the accommodation was that the food and drinks were quite expensive. It was basically the same prices as eating on the main street. As a guest staying at the hotel, you kind of expect it to be a little cheaper for the people staying there.

Memories that last forever
Pros:

The hostel was very clean, very social (what I wanted as a solo traveller) I have made friends for life! Great games to get to meet more people too and the bed was comfortable

Cons:

For me the staff was the best, Mac (Max) / Keng / King made this a great experience, it is nice when the staff remember you and greet you so well! Lub-d is a one of a kind experience and it felt very good and vibrant! I have travelled the world, but the best staff are at Lub-d

The worse experience ever

The place was the dirtiest one I’ve ever reserved, the pool was not clean, the floating matrices on the pool were dirty, the toilets were not clean and hygienic, I got a severe infection in my urinary tracts after using them,, this place was awful

Great place to make new friends
Pros:

Very social, great facilities and lovely staff. The kitchen is also very good and breakfast is available nearly the whole day.

Pros:

I had mixed feelings about my stay. On the positive side, the location was excellent right on the beach, close to everything, and in a beautiful area. The staff running the bar and organizing activities were fantastic, friendly, and helped create a great atmosphere. The social vibe of the hotel was definitely one of its strongest points.

However, there was one issue that significantly affected my experience. I booked and paid for a private double room, not a dormitory. One day, a male friend accompanied me to my room while I was getting my swimwear before we headed to the beach. Shortly after entering the room, I received a phone call from reception telling me that he was not allowed in my room.

What made this particularly confusing was that this person is well-known at the hotel, regularly attends events there, and is even used by the hotel to help promote their social activities and beer ping-pong events. Because of that, the situation felt unnecessary and uncomfortable.

As a paying guest in a private double room, I expected to be able to have a friend visit briefly without it becoming an issue. Unfortunately, this experience was the main reason I decided not to extend my stay and instead moved to another hotel, where having a visitor was not a problem.

Overall, the location, beach, and activity staff were excellent, but the visitor policy and the way it was handled left me disappointed.
