Numa Berlin Drift

Spending an inordinate amount of time on Whatsapp/text on my phone (on my holidays!) correcting errors made by Numa. The hotel is digital and no-one answered my calls. Felt like dealing with utility providers at home (talk to a bot! use the chat!) and getting nowhere: a drain and cost me time. One month later, the final matter still has not been closed. Staff (when the bot disappeared) were pleasant but failed to address matters and I had to repeat myself and chase. They refused to honour an offer which they had made and I accepted (finally they did). All in all highly frustrating. To use the washing machine, you have to download an app (further tech!). I wanted to speak with someone but had to resort to messaging (again) then received a load of irrelevant information in return (an automated job) which I had to read through. After waiting 20 minutes and chasing, a human appeared at the other end of the exchange and sent me further copy-paste irrelevant information. When I asked if she was calling me as I had requested, I was told they are not able to make calls! I could however call them but see above! Staff then told me to contact the washing machine supplier! The bot gave incorrect information, including telling me that I did not have Holmes Place guest access when I had seen that I did. As the hotel does not have a staffed reception, I spent a while helping someone who was stuck outside as they had lost their key and left their phone in their room. Another hour or so gone. Finally, supply of ear plugs in the laundry room (where staff directed me) had run out - fine - but getting to the bottom of this took time, more typing on my phone, waiting for staff to respond, checking the room and me proposing a solution rather than spend my time in the laundry room waiting to receive a message. A human member of staff could have helped immediately and confirmed there were none left, all in short oral conversation.

It was confusing that there were two front doors, one where the code works and one where the code does not work. This gave me a bit of a panic attack. The next day, I saw a guest struggling with the same issue.

Никто не менял полотенца и белье с мусором на протяжении всего пребывания. Даже с учетом того, что я несколько раз об этом просил сотрудников. Они не говорили на английском, но через переводчик получалось донести информацию. Жаль, что за этим ничего не следовало

Hassling with an unfriendly bot. is a disaster and not even hinted at in the blurb'

Otel, bilgim dahilinde olmadan, konaklamamı yapacağım gün rezervasyonumu iptal etmiş. Başka bir otel ayarlamak durumunda kaldım.

The kitchenette is an afterthought, making coffee, snacks and sandwiches is fine. To use the microwave you have to use a step stool.

Fernsehsender: wahllos mit großen Lücken und eingestreuten Radiostationen belegt, man konnte nicht mal ARD finden. Viele Funktionen der Fernbedienung funktionierten nicht (Program Guide, Info usw.)

Keine Klimaanlage. Sehr schlechte Kundenservice und unfreundliches Personal.
Sehr erschwertes Kontakt mit dem Personal.
