Very cool place, friendly staff.
Really lovely letter left in our room to celebrate our stay with a voucher to spend there - so kind.
Everything you could need at the amenities area like razor, bobbles, toothbrush even hair oil/ face masks!
Compact but nice room and good offer of 500¥ voucher if you avoid housekeeping. Gets you a cocktail at the bar! (You still get clean towels daily)
Free beer 6-7pm on the ground floor, DJ on and great atmosphere.
Food menu basic like Japanese curry, fries, pasta but reasonably priced and convenient.
7/11 right outside and under 5 mins to metro station
Bits of improvement:
Very unusual breakfast options. Not even sure they’re local just very random like buns filled with fried chicken, falafel, salmon - all cold. Also filled focaccia.
No pastries, no yoghurt, a couple bits of fruit and lettuce?!
The toilet in the room smelt awful, not sure if it was coming from the vent system but it smelt of sewers.
Clean and modern space. Self serve options including the area for supplies (e.g face cleanser, toothpaste etc)
Room is a bit small and cramped. Breakfast was a bit sauce and grease heavy for our taste
The staff was very polite and helpful when I needed, an excellent lounge area with a high quality and great selection of tea and coffee, cleanness, comfortable bed... everything was great!

First time staying at The Lively Osaka and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I usually stay with The Lively in other cities and I think Osaka’s is my favourite now 😄
