Pros:

La haitación que reservamos tenía muy linda vista, estuvimos comodos. Pasamos tiempo en el muelle y mismo hicimos kayak. La atención fue buena.

Cons:

Había olor a humedad.

I had the one & only room beside the lagoon, so most often I had the lagoon for myslelf. Book the view room!!

Prima verbleef voor een aantal dagen.
Pros:

Een eigen rustige plek aan het meer. We hadden de bovenverdieping van de woning in de tuin bij de weg waar je oversteekt naar het meer. De woning ligt redelijk rustig. De kamer en het balkon zijn heel ruim.
Korting bij het restaurant einde van het terrein

Cons:

De kamer was vochtig, maar wel te drogen door de airco. Door het vocht zit er vocht uitslag maar ook stof en dode muggen achter de rol gordijnen.
Terrein zou beter onderhouden moeten worden. ( Rommelig)

Very disappointing, would stay elsewhere

The lagoon is gorgeous once you get there.

Cons:

Our stay was very disappointing to say the least. We stayed in the deluxe room, which is clearly past its glory days and not well-maintained at all. The room was extremely damp and everything felt sticky; not even the towels dried properly. Also one of the sinks wasn’t working. The pictures try to sell you paradise in a honeymoon suite vibe, yet it does not live up to its expectations whatsoever. Simply put: it wasn’t worth it.

Increible!
Pros:

Increible experiencia, la habitación frente a la laguna es simplemente un sueño. Justo tiene pegado un bar asi que puedes comprar bebidas y llevartelo al recinto. En nuestro caso fue practicamente privado, disfrutamos solos de la zona del embarcadero, nos bañamos, etc. La habitación en si es muy bonita y está muy bien equipada, al igual que el baño. Puedes aparcar el coche dentro del recinto. Los paseos hasta la zona del pueblo eran super agradables y allí hay muchas opciones para desayunar, comer o cenar (la recepcionista del hotel te manda algunas recomendaciones) es una zona muy segura incluso por la noche. Nos encantó!

Cons:

No nos gustó leer antiguas reseñas que decían que podías acceder a los kayak y a las bicis de forma gratuita porque era cortesía del hotel y ahora (Enero 2026) todo es de pago. Una pena no mantener ese encanto.

Relaxing by the lagoon
Pros:

lovely apartment by the lagoon, amazing welcoming by the staff, plus a very appreciated bew year’s present. I highly suggest to enjoy Bacalar at Royal Palm

Pros:

No pudimos encontrar mejor lugar! es muy tranquilo y lleno de vegetacion muy bonita, la habitación es muy amplia y tal cual se ve en las fotos, nos gustó que el baño se encuentra separado del otro lado de la regadera. La cama es muy cómoda y el área de la laguna esta super cuidado y es privado. La recepcion muy amable,nos prestaron plancha y nos ayudaron con algunas recomendaciones de traslado. El restaurante que se encuentra ahi también es recomendable tiene buenos precios a comparación de los alrededores.

Cons:

Lo lejano de la recepción ya que traía maleta pesada y al tocarnos lluvia no la podíamos llevar mas que cargando, aún asi lo demás estuvo super bien.

Passable mais trop cher pour le prix payé.
Pros:

L’emplacement et la gentillesse des hôtes avec leur disponibilité ! Merci encore pour les adresses. Le ponton est magnifique mais devrait être entretenu.

Cons:

L’humidité du logement, très très humide malgré la ventilation. C’était insupportable, rapport qualité prix pas bon. Trop cher pour ce que c’est. On a l’impression de s’être fait arnaquer. Manque d’entretien de la structure. Avec route en mauvaise condition et le lit pas du tout confortable. Installations en mauvaise qualité. Mensonge sur le 5 étoiles, cela n’est pas du tout un 5 étoiles. Le logement d’en haut est à fuir. Il faudrait nettoyer également la piscine pour pouvoir se baigner. Déçue de l’endroit ! Et ne vaut pas le prix payé….
