Lovely big room with comfortable bed, a nice bathroom and a nice view. All staff very friendly and helpful who made us feel welcome. I didn't have time to make use of the pool but the spa staff were happy for me to just go and have a quick look at it and it looked nice. The grounds surrounding the hotel looked very nice, too.
I didn't really like the breakfast, but I did have a vegetarian full English - maybe the breakfast is better for meat eaters. In the room, there was a stain on one of the bathroom towels, but other than that it was very clean.

It’s old fashioned, out dated, old and not up to standard, the breakfast food wasn’t good. There wasn’t any staff around in the night

All of the staff were welcoming, professional and courteous. Dinner and Breakfast were good.
Room was a great size. Bathroom had both walk in shower and bath. Towels were fluffy and a great size.
Lovely grounds and nice outdoor areas to enjoy your drinks.
Robes could have been provided for use at the pool. Spa reception could have been more interested in booking me in for treatments, this was just before 7.00pm on Sunday evening though.
Cafetiere in room rather than standard sachets of instant coffee would have been very welcome.
At dinner, on a Sunday evening mashed potatoes were not available.
Nice rooms, nice staff. A lovey place to stay, we will be back for the golf course!
