Pleasant.
Pros:

This is my 4th visit on H/O business in Plymouth, my last stay was not so good (I did send email) - this time around it was excellent, great room, wonderfully friendly welcoming staff (especially on reception) Food in restaurant simply outstanding - The duck spring rolls was like a party on your taste buds (although could have been a little warmer) & the Trout with noodles was delicious (I didn't want it to end) - I end up just going up to my room as the bar does nothing for me. Lastly love that you are dog friendly <3. Hope this helps.

Cons:

One slight downside is I sat at the back of restaurant left of the fake fire (shame not a real log fire) and my view out of my right eye was the unopened door (go and sit and see what i mean) that view & the conversations of staff etc spoils the ambiance/restaurant experience a little. Also the bar itself is so out of touch with the look & feel of the rest of the hotel & grounds, it's too bright, cold & clinical. I'd change it to earthier colours, nice fire, quality background music instead of awful soap operas on TV's

Really enjoyed it. Would recommend as it is close enough to Plymouth to be convenient.
Pros:

Although the hotel is a little dated decor-wise, it is spotlessly clean and all the staff with whom we had interactions were excellent. Whoever recruits and trains staff is doing a great job. Clearly everyone is on message and understands why what they do matters. Restaurant is excellent. Lovely and clean with a good spa and gym and the swimming pool is perfect.

Cons:

The Wifi is dreadful.
Getting to the hotel for the first time feels a bit crazy as you go through a housing estate and up, what feels like, a long windy country road with a few nasty potholes. However after a couple of times it is really quite easy.

Lovely staff nice hotel
Pros:

The pool and spa were lovely. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Made us iced coffees even though they weren't on the menu. The room was nice. Overall a great stay would stay there again.

Cons:

A little dated. Little things like handles are a bit loose. Could do with an update. Food was ok but I expected a little better for the price.

Great location, wonderful staff, bad WiFi.
Pros:

The room was lovely, the staff were increadible and the facilities at the spa were wonderful.

Cons:

The double bed was made of 2 beds so after the 1st night you noticed the bit in the middle. The WiFi was non existant which made it impossible for a work visit which is is unfortunate as I would have recomended it for a business location for the company I work for. The breakfast finishing at 9:30am was a bit of a rush in the mornings.
