Notre chambre était parfaite : très propre, grande et avec une vue magnifique sur la ville.

Le personnel y est très sympathique c’est très agréable.
On y mange très bien.
La chambre à deux portes qui communiquent avec les chambres d’à côté, c’est une horreur on entend tout ce qu’il se passe chez les voisins comme si ils étaient dans notre lit!
Les portes claquent continuellement dans le couloir et on entend tout ce qui disent les gens.
L’isolation phonique est catastrophique. Difficile de dormir correctement.
Tout ça dans une chambre bien classée ! En tout cas le 30 eme étage est à éviter
I had a very nice stay at City Garden Grand Hotel. Special mention to Kris (front desk), Ivan (bell boy), and the other bell boy/concierge — you know who you are! Thank you for the great service and kindness during my stay.
The room had one of the best showers I’ve had in the Philippines, which was a big plus. I also liked that there were different pillow options and plenty of storage space. The rooftop pool is amazing and definitely one of the highlights of the hotel, and the rooftop restaurant is also very good. The staff were friendly throughout my stay, and there are many restaurants nearby which makes the location very convenient.
A few small points for improvement: the gym could use more variety of equipment, and the screen mirroring on the TV did not work even after housekeeping tried to help. At the rooftop pool, sunbeds are first come first serve, so it can get crowded. There can also be some waiting time for the elevators since the hotel has 32 floors but only 3 lifts. Lastly, I did not always feel completely comfortable in the neighborhood at night.
Overall, a very good stay and I would recommend this hotel.

Lifts slow, long wait time during some periods
On my Arrival into the Philippines in February, I stayed at this Hotel for 7 nights. I was so impressed by the staff, the location and the accomodation at City Gardens Grand, that I returned to this Hotel for a further 4 nights in March, after my visit to Boracay and Cebu. I enjoyed my time at City Gardens Grand Hotel in Makati far more than I enjoyed my stay at the 5 Star Hotels in Boracay and Cebu. The staff at City Gardens Grand made it feel like a home that I loved returning to after my daily adventures.

Le rooftop est également un vrai plus : on peut y manger dans un très bon restaurant tout en profitant d’une vue imprenable sur Manille.

Location and politeness of the staff
Staff at the reception not sympathetic about the situation were dealing as a stranded passenger for nearly 2 weeks ( due to conflict in Middle East) and wanted a big request to have late check out and possibly pay the amount by the hours we stay but she (Steph) suggested we should book another night and that is costly for us. We have early flight and would not intend to sleep on the hotel but she did not get my point of saving us a little bit.
Good customer service especially Mica, Kris, Step and was it Darius? They were great.
