The stay overall was fantastic. The view from the SPA at Zurich gives true movie vibes.
Pros:

Breakfast was great. I really liked that every day was a section with new food to try out. One suggestion, when you know that there are going to be a lot of customers please preplan more staff. The staff at the breakfast is doing a great job but 2-3 people for 30-40 guests is simply not enough with every question and detail that they have to attend to.

Cons:

E-bike must be reserved. It's a great addition we loved our trip. One day (saturday) we asked for them to be prepared but it turned out that some bikes were already on the road and two others were pre booked. Tell that to the guests!

Très belle hôtel à proximité du centre-ville du zoo terrain de golf à proximité de très bons restaurants une mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner j’ai rarement vu un tel choix

Je trouve que pour un palace il y a certaines choses à revoir pour commencer un fer à repasser serait très utile deuxièmement la télé alors oui très belle marque et des chaînes en français mais je trouve qu’elle est pas adapté pour regarder depuis le lit elle est vraiment trop basse et pour finir le voilage (rideaux) troué au niveau de la fermeture de la porte fenêtre ce sont des petites choses mais pour un palace c’est suffisamment important de le préciser

Very family and Swiss style hotel
Pros:

The most I appreciated the service, sufficiently attentive and positive. I liked privacy as well, despite of many people it feels private. I appreciated a lot the restaurants, THE restaurant and the cuisine of Grand Meatery, as well as breakfast.

Sehr schönes Hotel, aber...
Pros:

Ich habe meinen Sohn zu einem besonderen Geburtstag ins Dolder eingeladen. Das Personal reagierte nett, es wurde ihm mehrmals gratuliert und er bekam sogar zweimal einen kleinen Kuchen. Unser Zimmer war schön und gross, top modern, selbst das Badezimmer verfügte über Radio und TV. Zudem hatten wir einen Balkon mit Weitblick. Uns gefiel auch der Indoor-Swimmingpool.

Cons:

Während unseres Abendessens im Hauptrestaurant gab eine Mitarbeiterin zwei jungen Damen einen Fensterplatz. Daraufhin fluchte der Chef de Service laut und stürmte vom Empfang quer durch den grossen Raum zum Fenster. Offenbar war der Tisch reserviert. Der Chef de Service schimpfte mit der Mitarbeiterin und liess sich anschliessend ebenfalls laut bei einem anderen Mitarbeiter über seine «unfähige» Mitarbeiterin aus – und dies alles vor den Gästen.

Für das Frühstück standen wir für die Tischzuweisung zehn Minuten Schlange (Sonntag). Schliesslich wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das Hauptrestaurant voll sei. Ein Mitarbeiter räumte für uns einen Tisch im Nebenraum frei. Kurz darauf beschwerte sich ein Gast, dass das sein Tisch gewesen sei. Der Chef de Service gab dem Gast seine Koordinaten, beteuerte, dass der Gast für alles entschädigt werden würde und versprach laut «Kosequenzen» für das Personal. Daraufhin ging er erneut vor allen Gästen auf einen Mitarbeiter los. Das übrige Personal war überfordert. Wir wurden schliesslich nach einer halben Stunde bedient.

Uns haben die beiden Vorkommnisse die Freude an dem Aufenthalt genommen. Wir beschlossen, auf den erneuten Spa-Besuch zu verzichten und abzureisen.

A fairytale in Zurich. But not perfect…
Pros:

Room is really great but for this (remote) location overpriced for Zurich. SPA is uniquely unmatched. Though outdoor pool is tiny compared to comparable hotels (ie Buergenstock). Forest walk is amazing👌

Cons:

View from my room to the main building where I can see inside staff offices/rooms which are messy (ties hanging on the wall???) Happy to share pictures if anyone will care…
