Pros:

Fantastic stay — the location was perfect for us. The staff were so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely couldn’t do enough to help.

The rooms were spotless, with a beautiful high ceiling that made it feel really special. Beds were super comfy too, which made all the difference after a long days.

A real gem, would 100% return.

Beautiful old building within a short stroll to all the main sights in the town centre. Twin room very small and unusual
Pros:

The location was amazing for an easy stroll into town. The staff were all very friendly. The front beer garden was beautiful with the igloos keeping us a little warmer in the cooler afternoon weather.

Cons:

The entrance to the carpark was extremely difficult to manoeuvre into off the busy street. Our twin bedroom was small with extra set of stairs inside. The bathroom was very small with no bench space around the basin for toiletries bag and the bathroom door was too cumbersome for the small space.

Breakfast good. Staff very good. Parking-was great to park onsite but didnt know I had to pay for it. Location terrific for York visit.

Cons:

Signage to carpark was not obvious from the road.

100%will recommend it to my friends and family.
Pros:

Excellent reception when we checked in. Morning breakfast service was exquisite, happy and smiley team.
Our room was kept clean, fresh towels, snack bars it was perfect .
The view through our windows was breathtaking.
