Pros:

Location is very good and convenient to visit

Cons:

I stayed at other hotel and they have change towels only option without going into the room.
It will be nice if there is a sign for change towels , so the stuff can hang the clean towels bag outside the door, that will be nice !

Best/easy location to Kyoto Station 3 min walk and Don Quijote right across the street
Pros:

Good sized room and bed, linens & duvet were nice. Onsen lovely early morning.
Good number of washer/dryers.
Busy newer hotel but still quiet. Room had 2 chairs & small table to be able to have inroom meals. Window that can open.
Fantastic coffee machines also included iced Matcha & Coffee Latte. Quality ammenity skin products available near Reception.
Sooooo many good restaurant options at train station - try Skywalk upper floors like 11F, great nightime view also.

Cons:

Could use fluffier pillows.
Breakfast was too pricey. All good otherwise.

The public path alone makes it a five star stay!
Pros:

It was close enough to Kyoto station, but still slightly tucked away so that you didn’t hear noise from traffic.

Cons:

I got a little bit, turned around, trying to find my way there from Kyoto station and got confused with another hotel with a GRANVIA name in the area.
