Good stay but more attention to detail needed and communication

Lovely hotel lovely comfortable beds

Cons:

No hand towels left in our room or toilet rolls and the tea coffee milks etc were not topped up, I had to go down in the morning to try to get some toilet rolls and hand towels which wasn't ideal. Sunday lunch would of got 5 stars but they run out of Yorkshire pudding never explained or appologised and put a half on each plate and none on the small meals and forgot roast potatoes on one .

Very disappointed for a BW - expected much better

Looked promising and room was clean

Cons:

Power intermittent in the room, so lights kept going on and off. Lightshades didn't fit bedside lamps. Curtains let in a lot of light as didn't fit against the window recess enough. No hot water whatsoever. Constant beeping outside the room throughout whole night. Breakfast was poor

Pros:

Breakfast was fantastic, staff told us to help ourselves if we wanted anything else. St Helens is a lovely place to stay lots of shops and pubs but quite rural. I would definitely stay here again. Loved the hotel was made to feel special.

Pros:

The bed was very hard, but otherwise the facilities were very nice. The bar, restaurant was very clean and tidy and full, showing that the food is good.
