Overall I think this is a good spot for visiting London, especially while having a concert in Ally Pally (that's why we went there) - it's absolutely close to the venue. The tube is right in front of the building, which was also very convenient. The staff was incredibly helpful. We could borrow things such as kettle, hairdryer from the reception desk, they also gave us some cups for the duration of the stay. The room was small, but enough to get some sleep and go sightseeing the next day. I also admire the fact that the cleaners came every day.
I wish there was some area to prepare food or maybe with some kitchen utensils (although there is possibility to borrow them from the reception, we didn't want to bother the receptionist all the time and it was hard to prepare breakfast on the bed). We had to keep our food on the windowsill. The room was a little dusty especially under the bed. Be prepared for the noise, as on the ground floor there is a restaurant and also our co-guests weren't so considerate of others and screamed a little.
Location was brilliant. Rooms were clean, warm and comfy.
Wooden floors meant lots of noise from neighbouring rooms.
room is clean
Gute Lage, super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
The location was good for what we needed to visit Alexandra Palace.
The booing advert was misleading and pictures at the time of the booking showed an en-suite with this room up until 2 days before we checked in. When we arrived our room had no bathroom and it was shared bathroom that was dated and old. The sink did not drain and was rusty and cold water. We had to go across the corridor, down steps and into the other side of the building to get to it. We feel mis led as the orignal pictures and description of the room has changed. We still paid over £90 for a room with no bathroom and this was not made clear at the time of booking.
Location is very close to station. Room is clean.
Stayed in a small double room, the size of the room is fine, but it would be better to have a small table or desk in the room that I can used to put my laptop for work.
I hope a small self-served kettle and a mug or cup could be provided in the room, so that i can simply make myself a cup of tea or coffee while I am working my room.
The wooden floor boards at the corridor looks nice but it generated noise when guests walking pass and luggage wheels on the wooden floor boards was pretty loud.
Location
The room really really smells. It didn’t feel very safe for 2 girls staying on their own
We went to a gig at Ally Pally and this was a perfect location. Lots of place to eat and drink nearby and opposite the tube station. Room was absolutely fine , shower was AMAZING.
Karim , who checked us in , could not of been more helpful.
Absolutely nothing. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it.
It’s location
The rooms corridors was not cleaned
The toilets and bathrooms were a shared facility with other guests which was quite a shock to me.
I think guests should be notified about this before they book to stay.
