Grand Esen Hotel

This was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had. We were forced to leave after one night due to a severe cockroach infestation. Every single time the lights were switched on, cockroaches ran across the room. This is unacceptable and unhygienic.
The bathroom was filthy, extremely small, and smelled terrible. The bedding was dirty. The walls were paper thin, and despite complaining to management about excessive noise from neighbouring guests, nothing was done. Sleep was impossible.
The room was ridiculously small. There was no space to open a suitcase or even walk properly. This property is absolutely not suitable for families or anyone travelling with luggage.
Breakfast was disgraceful. Boiled eggs were the closest thing to food served. Bread was left out in a plastic shopping bag straight from the store, which is unhygienic and lazy. This is not what any reasonable person would consider breakfast.
The location is on a very busy street with traffic and noise continuing until after 2 a.m. Combined with the condition of the room, this made the stay unbearable.
The manager admitted the conditions were unacceptable and promised a refund. Since then, all messages have been ignored and no refund has been processed. The lack of accountability is shocking.
Avoid this property at all costs. We will never return and will never recommend this place to anyone.

Off-hand attitudes at checkin and departure. No replacement towels after room service (again: off-hand attitude… one young guy eventually left the animated discussions at reception to take me looking around upstairs for a towel). Dangerous amateur repair to the toilet seat leaving sharp screws protruding from the top. They are ambitious, cramming so many features into one small room, but the already confined floor space was even more constricted. Insect bites on our second night (now dealing with allergic reaction). The room would be ok for one person but it’s waaaay too tight for two. We were happy to cut our stay short to take up a train booking.

Resepsiyondaki Üveys beyefendiye içten teşekkürlerimi iletmek istiyorum. Beni sıcak bir şekilde karşıladı, çay ikram etti ve odamın mükemmel şekilde ısınmasını sağladı. Üstelik bana en inanılmaz manzaraya sahip bir oda verdi – gerçekten unutulmaz! Onun detaylara gösterdiği özen ve nezaketi, İstanbul’daki konaklamamı muhteşem kıldı. Bu oteli şiddetle tavsiye ediyorum! Çok çok teşekkür ederim, görüşmek üzere!

Everything was fine for the price paid!

Отель находится в очень плохом техническом состоянии, все к чему прикасаешься вот вот развалится. В главном здании проблемы с канализацией (сильный запах) и тараканами, фотографии на букинг далеки от реальности. На нижнем этаже расположено кафе где местные постоянно курят, вытяжки там тоже нету, поэтому в номере постоянный, сильный запах сигарет. Рекомендую посмотреть отзывы на картах

HÔTEL À FUIR ABSOLUMENT. Cet hôtel a gâché mon séjour à Istanbul!
J’avais réservé 3 nuits dans cet établissement à Istanbul et ça a été une expérience catastrophique.
Dès la première nuit : piqûres de punaises de lit. Je préviens la réception, ils s’excusent et me changent de chambre.
Le lendemain, je rentre après une journée dehors, je m’allonge à peine 10 minutes sur le lit… et encore une piqûre. Donc clairement, le problème n’était PAS réglé.
Je précise : je n’avais même pas déballé ma valise et j’avais nettoyé mes affaires avant de changer de chambre. Donc qu’on arrête de faire porter la faute sur le client.
Quand j’en parle à nouveau à la réception, ils commencent à m’accuser en me disant que je dois laver tous mes vêtements (!!) tout en disant “désolé”. Aucune solution immédiate, aucune gestion sérieuse, juste de l’attente pendant des heures.
J’ai donc demandé un remboursement pour partir, puisqu’il me restait encore 2 nuits. Ils m’ont clairement dit qu’ils allaient me rembourser, m’ont donné un numéro personnel et promis un virement sous 2 jours. On m’a même demandé d’envoyer un message pour officialiser, ce que j’ai fait. Je rajouterais aussi qu'ils m'ont demandé de ne pas mettre de commentaire et qu'ils allait tout faire pour arranger le problème.
Résultat : j’ai dû quitter l’hôtel à 22h en urgence pour en trouver un autre.
Et bizarrement, dans le nouvel hôtel : AUCUN problème pendant les 2 nuits suivantes. Donc non, le problème ne venait pas de moi ni de mes affaires.
Aujourd’hui, plus d’un mois après (depuis le 13 février), toujours aucun remboursement. On me dit qu’on va me rappeler → jamais fait. Je relance → plus aucune réponse.
Conclusion : établissement insalubre, mauvaise foi totale et promesses mensongères.
Si vous tenez à votre santé et à votre argent, passez votre chemin.

Maleńki pokój, ale jeśli jest tylko do spania na kilka dni to nie ma problemu
