Nice venue, but food is terrible wouldn’t stay again
Pros:

Room was clean, bed was comfortable

Cons:

Food was so disappointing. Menu is very limited. Came out in under 10 mins so was obviously sitting being kept hot. Everything was bland, dry and the vegetables were limp. Burger was burnt, sauce on it was too sweet. Was such a let down we didn’t go to breakfast as we knew it would be awful. Got some pastries and a muffin and took it to the room they were disgusting quite honestly. Very disappointing, not a cheap hotel by any means expected more!
Also check out was 12pm. At 11:20 the cleaner knocked on the door we said we’re not ready to leave yet. At 11:30 my husband went to the car with a bag and the cleaner let herself in didn’t even knock. Why offer check out till 12pm if staff are going to be making you feel rushed into leaving?

Stains on carpet in room and hallway carpet dirty. Paint on dresser chipping and dirty, same with lockers. Had to go looking for bath stopper

Very nice stay
Pros:

Staff were friendly and extremely helpful
Hotel is clean, cosy and welcoming. Pool area is spacious with kids pool. We had a very nice stay.

Cons:

Unfortunately the last time we stayed here (5 years ago now) the quality of food was much better. Breakfast and bar food this time around was only ok.

Perfect hotel for a stay in Kilkenny
Pros:

Loved everything, we were greater so beautifully by a lovely gentleman. Room was fabulous & so big.

We had dinner in the restaurant & the decor was stunning & service even better.

Breakfast was so good & plenty to choose from.

Highly recommended

Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Kilkenny and couldn’t fault it in any way. The rooms were spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax from the moment we arrived.
The food was excellent throughout our stay, with great quality and plenty of choice. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. Every interaction was warm, professional, and genuinely friendly.
A special mention has to go to Trish, whose friendliness and incredible attention to detail made a real difference to our experience. Adrian on reception was welcoming and helpful, and the security team — Tommy, Tom, Jason and Matty — were outstanding: professional, approachable, and always keeping everything running smoothly.
It’s rare to find a hotel where every element comes together so well. We felt truly looked after from start to finish and will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommended 👏✨

Perfect stay!
Pros:

The Hotel is very clean, spacious bedroom, amazing shower, very comfortable in general. Nice breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location! Everything was perfect! Couldn't recommended more.
