Amazing stay
Pros:

i love the art, the design, the cleanliness, spacious room, comfy bed plus easy access of public buses, few steps away to konbinis and the highlight is the bar at the lobby. weekend is fun with DJ playing good music while chillin’ with your favorite sake, beer, wine, whiskey or cocktails.
by the way, our room has 12 different light switch to choose.

Cons:

i wish the bathroom has a bath tub. otherwise everything was nice and i love to stay here again.

Pros:

Piękne wnętrza, w kawiarni na 1. piętrze świetna pyszna matchą. Po przyjeździe welcome drink dostępny w barze. Bardzo sympatyczna obsługa. Imponująca rzeźba w pokoju. Świetne śniadanie, chociaż nie duży wybór plus trzeba z góry określić o które godzinie chcemy je zjeść i wybrać wcześniej konkretny zestaw śniadaniowy. Brakowało mi też bardziej japońskiego akcentu w ofercie śniadaniowej. Dla dzieci tylko 2 śniadania do wyboru ( dla dorosłych kilka). Wybrałam hotel z powodu lokalizacji, blisko Gion, wielu knajpek.

Cons:

Sam pomysł ze sztuką w pokoju świetny, ale nie sprawdził się w podróży z 2 energicznych dzieci. Pokój był niewielki, a dodatkowo część przestrzeni została wyłączona z użytkowania, bo znajdowała się pod rzeźbą. Rzeźba nisko zawieszona na suficie i trzeba było bardzo uważać, żeby w nią nie uderzyć. W pokoju nie było szafy, co przy 4 osobach spowodowało że szybko zrobił się bałagan, więc i tak ciężko było podziwiać sztukę. Dodatkowo była informacja o tym, żeby nie otwierać okien (aby rzeźba robiła większy efekt?), a i tak dojście do jednego okna było utrudnione z powodu zakazu przechodzenia. Podsumowując, hotel świetny ale nie polecałabym go dla osób podróżujących z mniejszymi dziećmi.

Comfort is very room dependent. Your experience may vary depending on the room you select.
Location is good for food and attractions, but is a bit of a walk from the train station when you arrive and leave.

Pros:

Personel ve imkanlar, konum, odamız, temizlik hepsi oldukça iyiydi. Kahvaltının 1 gün önceden menü ve saatinin bildirilmesi de bence çok mantıklıydı. Konumu çok iyi. Birçok merkezi gezilmesi gereken yere yürüme mesafesinde.

Very artsy and relaxed stay
Pros:

It is a very nice and artsy place to stay - makes you feel oddly relaxed. The friendly reception and programme which gives occupants a free drink each at the bar. We also loved how we could participate in the art of the room too! We stayed in the coin room.

Cons:

There isn’t many places where we could hang clothes and towels, not even in the toilet.

Fun, well located and comfortable hotel.
Pros:

Great hotel, but very dependent on the room.
Our room had an amazing view up the hill to Kiyomizu Dera, the room was large, comfortable and had one of the best bathrooms we had on our trip.

Cons:

As mentioned, very room dependent. Hotel location means getting from Kyoto station is a little tricky by train, however once you are there it is a great area to stay in.
