Le service de massages est une blague. Les « masseuses » ne savent pas ce qu’elles font, vous ressortez endoloris alors que vous étiez arrivés en pleine forme. Et pendant que vous vous faites mal masser le client suivant, arrivé très en avance, vous regarde pendant une demie heure… très pro comme service!

Beautiful location and stunning grounds, but uncomfortable night
Pros:

The location is beautiful, the context, absolutely lovely and well curated with ponds water, lilies, cute little bridges, and generally a good sense of aesthetic. The bungalows are spacious and well decorated with a good infrastructure apart from the mattresses and pillows. The swimming pool is a good size and a very pretty context. The breakfast restaurant was cute and good quality unlike the dining restaurant.

Cons:

The dinner/ lunch restaurant (not the same as breakfast) was absolutely awful. We live in Thailand and I think this is among the worst food I’ve had in a hotel restaurant in the last decade.
Another negative note goes to the bedding – we also live with a very hard Thai mattress, but this was another level. paired with the huge massive pillows it just made for a very difficult positioning of the body. The air cons were also extremely loud. We ended up turning them off just because we couldn’t deal with the noise.
Additionally, some bungalows are connected to each other: the couple staying next door to us unfortunately was audible in most respect while in the bathroom – I will leave the details to the reader’s imagination.
It was a pity because the grounds of the hotel are really lovely. The staff was professional. The bungalows were well decorated. It could’ve been a much better stay.

Pros:

My room was lovely and roomy, the bed and pillows exceptionally comfortable.

Cons:

The coffee could have been improved. Also, I anticipated it being closer to the historical sites. Due to the heat and traffic it was a little risky to walk to the site which I had hoped to do.

Beautiful setting, excellent staff. Warm welcoming and friendly. I should have planned better and stayed an extra few nights. Highly recommend.

La piscine était hors d’usage. La réception dans un piteux état et le personnel pas sympathique. L’hôtel n’est pas entretenu. Le petit déjeuner proche de la route et très médiocre

The exceptional landscaping and the very helpful and polite staff.

Cons:

Air conditioning was not working when we arrived in the hotel afternoon. Afterwards, the inside air was never cool enough even the temperature was set at 19 C (low on freon?). Additionally, water was off for a few hours at noon time because of a broken pipe on the second day. On the third day, water was only dripping very slowly from early morning until we departed. Those two factors were disastrous and nearly ruined the otherwise nice stay.
