Was the perfect we can get away with my pets and children.

Disappointed
Pros:

Overall the property is in a great location staff are friendly and the room was clean

Cons:

Unfortunately my room was next to the Hotel/restaurant at the side of the property, so I had members of staff all times of day and night wheeling either laundry baskets rubbish or just generally make a noise in the area which echoed in the room.
The room I was in all though clean was nothing like that shown in the photo showing the room so was overall very disappointed with what I was expecting.Room was very dark but couldn’t open the curtain to let light in as all the staff walked by constantly.

Pros:

Good location. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

The stair railings should have been wiped down. Hands would get very dirty, had to wash my hands every time I went up to my room. I think they were grimy from the weather.

Perfect location to stay with friends and soak up all the splendor of Tahoe!
Pros:

Station House is located in a great neighborhood. Close to the beach, casinos, restaurants, hiking, biking etc.
Complimentary beverage at check in and s'mores packets are such a nice touch! Restaurant nextdoor is handy too! Nice little bar over looking the pool.

Cons:

Station House is under new ownership. Because we've stayed there so often, I can see a few cost cutting measures are in place. The iconic Pendleton blankets at the end of the beds are gone. They no longer offer breakfast items (granola bars, muffins) in the lobby area. Not a big deal though. Just really loved those Pendleton blankets!

Decent, can be better
Pros:

Overall clean and nice bed, it’s convenient walkable to the strip, private beach.

Cons:

The headboard is falling off, tv is not working only has sound. We let the staff know, but it didn’t get fix in three nights. We also have a dog so when he stay in the room it’s hard to fix.
The pillows very bulky, the comforter not breathable, didn’t sleep well.

I would book again if the carpet was removed.
Pros:

How close you are to Heavenly and the lake. Location is perfect.

Cons:

The carpet in the rooms have to go! Since it’s a dog friendly resort you can tell that dogs have pooped and peed on it the carpets are stained.
Also bathrooms and shower is super tiny. Didn’t have a microwave in the room which makes it super hard when you travel with babies.

Pros:

Location was great, front desk folks were quick to help and the pool was nice.

Cons:

Lighting inside the room was very insufficient and gave claustrophobic vibes. It had a fridge but didn't have a microwave. Overall if you plan to spend most of the time outside, i'd recommend it but not if you need to take breaks during the day.

Pros:

Location good with easy access to south Lake Tahoe, swimming pool on site. Compared to other hotels around it was reasonable value for money.

Cons:

More of a slightly upmarket motel as opposed to hotel, room was adequate but not large, beds reasonable but soft! Very little room for cases!!
