The vibe and theme of the hotel
Gym was subpar
Breakfast was ala carte instead of buffet option
No other facility than swimming pool and limited gym, a 5 star hotel would be expected more in my opinion
Very clean and modern
The rooms and reception and pool were lovely, the location brilliant
Having to pay for absolutely everything including water, $35 per person for breakfast is a silly idea, staff seem very disorganised, unable to use coffee machine, no coffee or tea bags in the room, just seemed unfriendly
Beautifully decorated hotel, very clean and we loved the high end appliances in the room (Dyson hairdryer & Philips steamer). We got to the hotel early and expected to store our luggage until we were able to check in but to our surprise, they had a room ready for us and it was a room on the 9th floor with a stunning view of the swan river (thank you to the lovely lady who checked us in!). The food at the pool bar was excellent and we enjoyed a drink on the terrace in the afternoon - highly recommended!
Unfortunately the main restaurant was closed when we stayed (Sunday’s & Monday’s) so we couldn’t try it but no big deal, we will try it next time!
This newly renovated hotel is a gem - primarily because the staff are first class! Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and always eager to assist. We had a minor issue with our fridge, and the staff went above and beyond, offering us an upgrade and bending over backwards to assist. The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was first-rate. Loved the onesie and slippers in the room, and the 9th-floor suite was stunning. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Will definitely be back!
Nothing not to love.
The location is great, the hotel is comfortable and stylish. Pier Street is very close to the Murray and Hay Street malls, Northbridge and the river which makes it an ideal base for shopping and eating out.
The pool and the gym in this hotel as well as the general appearance of the bar and the fact that it is all new made it a very appealing location.
I really appreciated the decor and the cleanliness of the room that I was in and it's great view.
The staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly.
The only thing I did not like was that despite paying in advance I was then expected to pay $200 a night security fee for every night I stayed. Although I know that I get this money back, as a requirement it ends up penalizing you the longer that you stay.

We liked the overall atmosphere, decoration of the room, the accessories (like Dyson hairdryer, Philips iron, B&B shower gel and shampoos), the kindness of the people, the pool and restaurant, and comfort of the bed
