Nice experience with a great staff.
Pros:

The staff was outstanding. They provided information on restaurants and different activities and every one of their recommendations was outstanding. The front desk staff answered any questions and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of.

Cons:

The pool was too cold to use. It looked very nice but very cold.

The hote managment needs to resolve the water leak or sewage draingr sound in the room.
Pros:

Friendly staff, they booked several tours for us.

Cons:

The room was very noisy specially at night, the water leak or sewage drainage sound is coming inside the room. I complained but the issue was not resolved.

Super séjour
Pros:

Très bon séjour dans un hôtel agréable et propre. Notre chambre donnait sur la piscine, très sympa ! Une équipe formidable, chaleureuse et aux petits soins. Le restaurant sur place est également très pratique. Merci au manager et à toute l’équipe pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. La navette gratuite pour l’aéroport et la ville est un vrai plus.

Pros:

Exceptional staff - friendly and helpful. Vimbai at the front desk helped us to navigate Issues with our tour company. Beautiful pool, a nice place to relax between adventures. Great breakfast.

Pros:

Clean, spacious room, comfortable bed

Cons:

Shower was temperamental - one minute it’s fine the next you’re being scalded with boiling hot water. Shower amenities i.e. shower gel and shampoo were low quality.
The design of the room is bad in that the front door is opaque glass and there are bright lights outside which stay on all night so the room is bright all night which does not allow for a restful sleep. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not, so we didn’t sleep very well.
Breakfast selection is poor and you’re better off going elsewhere if you can - I had some “muesli/granola” and it contained unshelled pumpkin seeds, not enjoyable at all. Coffee was passable and there was very little in the way of fruit juice available either, the containers were always very low on volume.
Service was somewhat lacking and you got the impression that they were only nice in order to get a tip when they did something. We were also told at check in that they offered a complimentary trip to the Dallas, which was good. Except, when we went to arrange the transport, we were basically accused of already getting a trip before by the staff behind the desk, so we had to explain we hadn’t and then it felt like it was something difficult to organise and the attitude of the staff member was different- not impressed and found the value proposition was very poor for what we paid and glad we won’t be returning.

Sehr ansprechende Unterkunft mit sehr herzlichem Personal, fußläufig zu den herrlichen Vic Falls
Pros:

Super leckeres, abwechslungsreiches Frühstück - eher Brunch - und sehr gutes Abendessen im hoteleigenen Restaurant, hoteleigenes Shuttle zu den Vic Falls und zum Flughafen, sehr freundliches Personal, schöner, großer Swimmingpool;

Cons:

Der Roséwein hätte kühler sein können ;-);

Comfortable
Pros:

A staff member by the name of Russell a respectful understanding young man noticed he accommodated myself including other
guests at Savanna 68. I was in my own business for 37yrs this young man is a credit to his employer. Should be training him up
in time to
become a manager.

Cons:

Noticed they used leftovers from dinner for breakfast by adding sauces pasta or beans etc. Although the very basic things were edible.

Ottimo per visitare le cascate Vittoria e il parco chobe
Pros:

Pulizia, personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Navetta gratuita da e per l’aeroporto e per il centro. Colazione con prodotti salati e dolci, anche se con scelta minore (ricordiamoci che non siamo in d’Italia!) . Tutti i giorni bottiglie d’acqua in camera.

Rough Start - Great Ending
Pros:

We ended up staying at the Sea of Dreams Apartments even though our reservation was at Savanna68. After a rough start, the staff, especially Vimbai were great. They went out of their way to assist us with transportation and food, and we were able to stay as our original group together for both nights. The hotel comped us 1 night and only charged us the apartment rate (vs Savanna68 rate) for the second night - a wonderful savings. The sandwiches they provided before our safari were good, and the breakfast before the airport was delicious. After all was said and done they really turned it around and we enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

I was contacted the night before check in and notified that because a family had immigration issues, they would be extending their stay and therefore my room, along with another in our party would not be available and we would have to stay at a sister property. I/we were not happy. After much back and forth, there really wasn't anything we could do - we needed a place to stay. I/we worked with Vimbai to see the apartments upon check in and we determined we would be ok at the apartments for both our nights.

Great great great !
Pros:

We were totally surprised by the quality of the establishment and the awesome, friendly service from the staff. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and explained the workings around Victory Falls and where to go for great sightseeing experiences and dinners. Big shoutout to the lady at reception! She was a superstar, and her guidance on what to do and what not to do made the trip extra special.

Exceptional Service & Wonderful Staff
Pros:

The staff at Sananna 68 are truly exceptional and made our stay incredibly special. Peter, with his wonderful stories and constant support throughout our stay, was an absolute pleasure. Vimby always made sure we had everything we needed, while Tino greeted us with such helpfulness and a smile every morning at breakfast. And Khudzi went above and beyond to make sure we reached our destinations safely and comfortably, always willing to go the extra mile.

A truly wonderful team who made us feel so welcomed and cared for. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!
