Liebevolle und umsorgte Mitarbeiter, die in jeder Situation helfen.
Pros:

Durch den liebevollen Empfang der Mitarbeiter fühlt man sich direkt am Anfang schon wohl und herzlich willkommen. Durch den ganzen Aufenthalt hinweg wurden wir durch das Personal in allen Fragen vollumfänglich beraten und unterstützt.
Durch die Lage direkt am Strand sowie das eigene Restaurant lässt somit nichts zu wünschen übrig.
Die Unterkunft selbst, ist in einem etwas älteren Zustand. Dies ist aber der beeindruckenden Geschichte des Hauses zuzuschreiben. Das gehört zu dem Charme dazu und somit für uns in Ordnung war.
Die Krönung war der Jahrestag der Betreiber:in des Hotels welche uns persönlich bei ihren Abend dabei haben wollten, um mit uns zu feiern! Durch diesen Abend wurde uns dir Kultur Sri Lankas näher gebracht und vorgestellt! Tolles Paar :)

this is my 2nd time at Villa Arthur CC so I knew what to expect. total relaxation, a good night sleep in a lovely cozy room, amazing comfortable bed, i slept 10 hours a night as per my apple watch, breakfast was lovely, the same as before., excellent restaurants nearby, beautiful beach and turtle beach just 20 minute walk away

Cons:

I didnt want to leave. After staying 4 nights, I still wanted to stay longer

Pros:

Tolle Lage direkt am wunderschönen Strand. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Cons:

Es gibt Zimmer, die relativ nah an der Straße liegen. Dadurch bedingt kann es etwas laut sein.

Pros:

Die Villa bietet den großen Vorteil, einen direkten Strandzugang zu haben. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und man hat uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden.

Cons:

Das Personal wollte uns mehrmals das Essen im Hotel-Restaurant, eine Schorcheltour und eine Behandlung durch einen hoteleigenen Ayurveda-Arzt aufdrängen. Die Schorcheltour haben wir für einen völlig überzogenen Preis gebucht: kaputtes Equipment und keinerlei Erklärungen. Es ist ratsam, am Korallenriff selber für deutlich weniger Geld Schorchel auszuleihen. Außerdem wurden wir fast bei jedem Betreten des Außenbereichs gefragt, woher wir kommen oder wohin wir gehen. Die Unterkunft ist deshalb nicht empfehlenswert, wenn man seine Ruhe haben will. Die Zimmer sind auch nicht schallisoliert.

Leider sand flies am Strand wofür das hotel natürlich nichts kann und leider schlechtes WLAN ,sonst aber toll

Komfortowy pobyt w Hikkaduwa
Pros:

Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa, lokalizacja przy plaży. Bardzo czysty i ładnie urządzony hotel. Na miejscu dostępne bardzo dobre masaże. Dobre lankijskie śniadanie serwowane na wybraną godzinę. Na miejscu jedliśmy codziennie kolację, która była przepyszna, polecamy owoce morza i ryby. Zawsze świeże i pyszne. W innych restauracjach bywało to różnie. Wspaniały wakacyjny klimat. Na plaży dostępne bezpłatne leżaki i parasolki, w barze można zamówić w ciągu dnia napoje i jedzenie. W okolicy dużo restauracji i sklepów. Plaża bardzo ładna, ale z kąpielą należy uważać ze względu na duże fale. Bezpłatny parking na posesji. Przy samej plaży znajdują się dwa osobne apartamenty. Następnym razem wybierzemy jeden z nich.

Cons:

Villa znajduje się przy ulicy, a więc z niektórych pokoi może być uliczny hałas. Nam to nie przeszkadzało, gdyż w nocy nie ma aż tak dużego ruchu na drodze, a w dzień i tak nie przebywamy w pokoju. Pokój był trochę mały, ale na dwie osoby i krótki pobyt był OK.

Sfeervol huis, direct aan het strand met ruimte om te eten in de tuin. Aan de weg maar heel rustig en lief personeel.
Pros:

De ligging is perfect met een terras met eetruimte, direct aan het strand. Met ligbedden. De kamers zijn goed, met veel sfeervolle houten meubels door het huis. Personeel is vriendelijk en lief.

Cons:

We misten een prullenbak op de kamer. Verder alles goed.

Personal, attentive beachside stay
Pros:

The best thing about this place was the staff. They are very attentive, caring and go out of their way to make things comfortable and as good as possible.

We spent our first night in the double room at the front. Unfortunately the noise from the road is terrible and feels like you’re staying at a motorway services hotel. We told Asiri (I think he is the manager) and he did everything he could to get us a different room at a reasonable upgrade price.

We moved to the sea view en-suite and I am so glad we did because this room was amazing! It backs directly onto the beach and you wake up with windows directly overlooking the beach and sea. No road noise, only waking up to the sound of the waves, blissful.

I am also vegan and asiri and his team went out of their way to make sure I got a good breakfast each morning, including doing a takeaway breakfast when we had to check out at 5am.

This is a quirky place in an interesting building on the quieter end of the beach.

We celebrated our 5 year anniversary here and the team organised a candle and cake for us, a very nice personal touch.

Thanks so much to Asjri and team for an attentive and personalised stay.

Cons:

Road noise in the front room, though this wasn’t an issue after we moved rooms.

Pros:

La vue depuis la chambre était époustouflante. Chambre propre et confortable.
Nous avons adoré séjourner dans cet hôtel. L'emplacement est plus au calme mais vous pouvez rejoindre le centre d'Hikkaduwa sans problème. Il y a de nombreux restaurants aux alentours. Nous recommandons !

Cons:

La carte du restaurant de l'hôtel était un peu incompréhensible.
