Everything - the breakfast, the interiors, the staff !
Beautifully decorated
The staff was very friendly and really helpful. They made our stay as comfortable as possible. The bathtub in the room was fantastic, everything was clean and comfy. The food in the restaurant is pricy - yes - but fantastic quality and brilliant taste!

Everything. What an incredibly beautiful hidden gem. That decor was perfect, little touches like ice water and a home baked cookie in the room.
Escorted to your room and given a tour. Coffee machine, perfect lighting and the temperature of the room was perfect.
Shower was probably the best shower I've ever been in, so much so I use it 3 times for 1 over night stay.
That i didnt stay longer, or book in for dinner because the restaurant, menu, open kitchen and friendly staff were outstanding.
The welcome of the team at Holm was unmatched. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Really felt like you were walking into someone’s front room and not a restaurant - extremely welcoming
My only suggestion would be to have a flannel and body moisturiser in the room. Other than that - it was perfect!
Everything has been chosen and executed with so much care and attention at every single level - the decor, the menu planning and all the food & drink offerings. Staff all know their stuff, work hard yet are welcoming, engaging and friendly - not intrusive and not stuffy either. The lovely residents lounge was a great surprise for a restaurant with rooms. All in all it’s a very special place.
Minor things that hardly matter in the grand scheme of things with so much being spot on but if I’m being picky we slept on the 1st floor and we could intermittently hear a humming noise from the ground floor so would choose a second floor room in future, and we would have liked some squishier pillows but that’s just personal choice.

The food is superb and the owner and his staff are friendly and attentive. The property is attractive, as is the village in general.
We were late booking and had the last available room, which was good, but a little small and had only a double rather than a king size bed.
