MDG Suites

MDG Suites is a fantastic choice for business travelers. I spent one night here and found the environment to be quiet and the rooms very clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the dinner was excellent. The staff is great, and the internet is reliable for work.

I also appreciated the professional taxi service they provided, which was punctual and fairly priced. A top-tier stay with no complaints.

While I came on business, I was also present with friends and family - we all had a good time. The Atlantic Ocean View is very very beautiful. This place is 100 feet from the Ocean.

stayed at MDG Suites for a one-night business trip and had an excellent experience. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well-maintained—truly a gem of a place. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the dinner I had was excellent. From a business perspective, the internet was reliable and the staff was professional and helpful. They also arranged a taxi service that was on time, professional, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to the area.

Enjoying this 53 m² luxury suite in February - March with high ceilings and Atlantic views at this price is something I would rarely experience in Europe.

The well kept room and extremely comfortable, with soft linens, cosy carpets, comfortable settees and artwork thoughtfully matching the wall colours which included AC, a 55-inch TV, a desk with convenient sockets and a modern kitchen with pull-out tap and draining grid felt very luxurious surrounded by a row of windows bringing in plenty of light and the refreshing sea breeze.
The code entry system — no key or card required made access to our room very easy.

A missing hairdryer was promptly delivered and a fridge cooling issue was quickly resolved.

Our pdfs were kindly printed and brought to the room.

The atmosphere reflects a gentle Vedic-inspired approach to wellbeing, with a relaxed environment where guests can enjoy yoga, chess and peaceful surroundings.

I especially enjoyed the cuisine by Chef Mohabir and assistants who cook with fresh produce from the local open market and the organic garden, giving meals an authentic flavour of Guyana and contribute greatly to the dining experience.

Staff speak English, Spanish, Italian, Hindi and Guyanese, making communication easy for international visitors.

My partner being able to speak Guyanese reconnected quickly with her roots and build warm, genuine contact with local villagers which made the stay even more meaningful.

Life follows a natural rhythm her from dawn to dusk adding to the peaceful tropical atmosphere. From the Atlantic-facing rooms, it is also fascinating to watch passing ships and follow them using the MarineTraffic app.

The rooftop restaurant currently under construction will further enhance the property.

A small suggestion would be offering local Guyanese ground coffee. Tipping staff as a voluntary amount through the POS payment system feels convenient and transparent.

The building is NEW. The staff are very professional and courteous. The food is excellent. The hotel is located approx 100 feet from the Atlantic Ocean.
They picked me up from the airport and the entire experience was absolutely great.

This is my third time to Guyana. I travel a lot across South America. Hotels can be impersonal - MDG Suites is a small 11 room hotel that provides a personalized experience. I am definitely coming back!

Location is a bit out of the way, it makes it quiet. You are right beside the sea wall but at the moment it is "raw". I was told they were talking to the powers that be to allow some development to allow a better experience.

What I liked the most was their capacity of resolution to my immediate needs at first they resolved my transportation then I travelled with husband which was a last minute thing and they were accomodating kind generous all the characteristics of a well managed property,the room speaks for itself just as seen in the pictures they are 100% real totally recommending this property to all friends and family.

A great find on the internet,I think I stumbled upon a gem in Guyana, great customer service I so much wanted to extend my stay but I had plans already,love the ambience the decor the view oh how u wish I could stay more.
