The Yard Hotel

The hotel was very cosy, the personnel super friendly - a perfect place for vintage lovers. Also I want to emphasize the home-style Turkish breakfast. A lot of places of interest are available nearby, lovely restaurants, shops. Bosporus is around 15 minutes to walk.

We loved everything. The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast is incredible, Bahtiyar the cat is the cutest and everyone who works there is so kind. Even though we had crazy weather they looked after us. We didn't want to leave. Thank you all so much for having us!

The yard feels like a haven within one of the best areas of Istanbul. The staff are exceptional and the interiors are divine. I couldn't find fault with it. We loved it xxx

Atmosfæren og personalet var helt exceptionelt venligt og imødekommende, værelserne er store, rene og smukt indrettet, beliggenheden perfekt i gåafstand til butikker, restauranter, floden og dejlige lokalmiljøer. Morgenmaden i den hyggelige gårdhave var superlækker.

Room size was fabulous; bed was very comfortable; loved the informality of the hotel.
Staff were very helpful and clearly wanted to make it a lovely experience. History and decor added to the overall experience.

The Yard hotel is decorated with such style that it enhances your enjoyment of staying here. This is a far cry from staying in a chain hotel. All the small details around the hotel such as the choice of furniture or soaps in the bathrooms is spot on. It is a joy to stay in a hotel where spending time in the room feels like a special part of your holiday.

Our hosts were so welcoming and helpful with any requests we had. We were even given a lunch box when we left for the airport. Bahtiyar was particularly friendly.

A truly memorable stay in Istanbul. Highly recommend this property for a few standout reasons:

​The Design: Both the hotel itself and our room featured a completely unique, beautiful aesthetic.

​The Atmosphere: I spent every morning having coffee in the lovely back garden, made even better by the girls who were so genuinely hospitable and warm.

​The Service: The staff were exceptionally kind throughout the trip. They even went out of their way to arrange an early morning taxi for my wife and me on our final day, which made leaving entirely stress-free. Would absolutely book here again!

Our stay at The Yard Hotel exceeded all expectations. The hotel's architecture, charming courtyard, and beautifully designed rooms reflected the essence of traditional Turkish style and culture. The staff were exceptional, always warm, attentive, and eager to help in any way they could. Their genuine hospitality created such a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere that it felt less like a hotel and more like staying with family. A truly memorable experience.

Det hele - alt var vellykket fra indretningen til personalet der var venlige og altid stod til rådighed.
Der var rent og pænt, og selvom det lå ud til en trafikeret vej lå hotellet perfekt i stilhed.
Der er 7 værelser så man føler sig velkommen og god passet på og som gæst i en smuk gammel bygning.

Un endroit qu’on voudrait garder secret tant il a des allures de refuges. Des hôtels que j’ai pu faire entre Paris et Copenhague, celui ci était le plus sublime. Leurs parfums d’ambiance accordés au savon sont un délice . Le personnel est avenant et aux petits soins. Allez y sans hésiter, l’emplacement est un petit peu excentré du centre historique mais les transports sont accessibles rapidement et abondants.

Everything!!!!! From the perfect location and incredibly warm welcome to the amazing design, the wonderful people working there, the delicious breakfast, and—most importantly—the soul of the place. You truly feel at home from the moment you arrive.

What an amazing experience! I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Istanbul. Highly recommended!

- шикарное освещение, что бывает редко, лампы не яркие,но создают особое настроение, при этом вы не сидите в темноте👍
Но самое главное это люди, которые занимаются отелем. Я конечно была в приятном шоке, от такого честного внимания, приятного общения.

Our stay in The Yard hotel was amazing. We met the most hospitable and kind people working there. Everything they do, they do it with the outmost care and commitment. Breaksfast was delicious and varied. The rooms were really beautiful and comfortable. Everything was really clean. The location of the hotel is perfect since it’s next to a lively part of the city but far enough so as to have calmer nights.
We would happily return to The Yard Hotel any time.
