Room 5, the stuff of nightmares!
Pros:

Close to the airport & NEC and reasonable prices

Cons:

The property was not secure, our room did not lock properly (the boot of plastic in the pictures was the only security between us and the outside world) the door had material sellotaped over it, the lights could only be controlled from outside the room, there was a bifold door diving two rooms that could easily be opened (behind sofa).
We felt so unsafe we booked a different hotel and relocated despite travelling for about 15 hours prior to arrival and being so tired we thought we could have slept anywhere!
I would have felt safer and more secure at the Bates Motel - do NOT recommend

Ik kreeg op het laatste moment te horen dat het hotel volgens de uitbater door Booking.com dubbel geboekt was. Dus ik kon hier niet terecht. Tot op heden nog geen geld terug gehad.

The location

Cons:

I asked the host several times for the WiFi password he stated he will provided but in the end did not , when we arrived it was cold ( 16 C) so we asked to turn the heating on. The bathroom and kitchen could be cleaner, one can not use the refrigerator as it was too small and already full moreover the condition of it once opened would put off most people to use it. The property had I believe 5 rooms in total and only one bathroom which causes a lot of delay and the state of the bathroom is quite bad ( rust and old facilities ).

The location was near to the airport

Cons:

Upon arriving the window was left open and room
Was freezing , the tv in the room didn’t work . Spoke to the guy on the phone he just kept claiming the tv does work when it definitely wasn’t .. no towels on arrival or tea bags milk con tenants .. and told us to get some towels from This room .. eventually spoke to the lady she was really helpful and. Could not be apologetic enough . And turned up put everything right and we were appreciate of her time and offering alternative room as with the guy he claimed no other rooms were available ..

Pros:

Convenient location for our event in B'ham.

Cons:

Small parking space when there is more than 1 car, whi h was the case.
We could not regulate the heater. The room was too hot in the night, hence we could not sleep.
The bathroom and toilet had to be shared with other guests. The bathroom looked tired and could use an upgrade.
